Voice of the cross was formed in Umuahia and not Aba. Laz and Emma met in their church choir as members of the Ecwa church and recorded 18 songs in one go for their first studio album which had to be split into two albums. They came prepare. Point of correction, they did not infuse traditional Igbo music, high life and the reggae music influences into their songs. Hymns and choruses might be closer to the truth.
A very good documentary. It will be much more appreciated if you can get the two of them live to tell us how they started in the 70s
A great project you have started. Well done. God bless you.
Thank you so much and God bless you too.
