INGREDIENTS I USED:
Baked at 325 degrees for 1 hour 25 mins. (Time may vary depending on your cake pan and/or oven.)
3 C All Purpose Flour
2 C Light Brown Sugar
1 C Reg Granulated Sugar
3 Sticks UNsalted Butter
5 Large Eggs
1 C Milk
1 Tsp Baking Powder
1/2 Tsp Salt
1 C Toasted Chopped Pecans
8 Oz Toffee Bits
*DRIZZLE
1 C Brown Sugar
14 Oz Sweetened Condensed Milk
2-3 Tblsp Butter
Pinch of Salt
1 Tsp Vanilla Extract

To keep your Toffee chips Chocolate chips Pecans or walnuts from floating to the bottom of your cake pan or even sticking to the sides. Add a table spoon or 2 of flour in the bowl with those things you gonna mix it with your cake batter and that will keep them from sticking to the side or even falling to the bottom of your baking dish

Oh man, that look so so good Ms Donna. Just a quick note, the Heath Toffee is actually an English Toffee, which has a much different taste from regular toffee or brittle. I happened to like the toffee you used better than the regular one, especially covered in chocolate. Also, to keep your nuts and toffee from falling to the bottom of your cake pan, just dust them with a little of the cake flour or in this case, the regular flour you used. It will insure the nuts and candy will stay in place. This will be the desset for our Memorial Day dinner. Thanks again for sharing. Also, the field trip was fun. That was a bold move taking all of us with you by yourself without any chaperones. We all did behave though 😁

Another yummy pound cake. I usually toast nuts whole, roast , then chop them up after. That way, I'm less likely to burn up smaller pieces and have to start over.
