On a side note, Juventus Ronaldo will go down as one of the most underrated footballers ever. There are legitimately people out there that think Ronaldo at Juve was a poacher, and even worse, think that his stint there was a failure. He scored 101 goals in only THREE seasons. To do that for a Juve side that weren't as strong as they once were, and in the defensive Serie A, is incredible. He was dribbling, he was creating, he was linking up play, he was scoring, he was decisive, his overall play was world class to put it simply. On an individual level, he was so unbelievably good. I hope this video was able to capture that magic within those 7 minutes!

Relative to his age, he played perfectly there, I really liked his time there. He had to continue playing there and then go to the Saudi League. His time at United was annoying🐐
He had a contract with Juventus until 2022, should've seen it out and moved to Saudi at that point. An extension until 2024 was a possibility, but in my opinion, would've been a mistake by both parties

@@Legasus7 completely true..the squad was struggling without him against bottom placed teams..average midfield and defence with aging players..Even dybala declined massively so he had to drag that team out of trouble every match...if i remember correctly he would have finished second if the B. DOR wasnt canceled in 2020, i think i read that somewhere-however with a slightly better squad im sure he could have won atleast 1 b.dor more

You really showcased how magical his time at juventus was in just 3 short seasons and what he did there and he was underappreciated there truly underrated portion of his career. 102 goals in 3 seasons at those ages mid 30s and slightly passed that and didn’t play every game like he did as a youngster at times…especially under Pirlo’s management he could’ve easily scored 30 plus league goals in his last season but pirlo rested him a lot and he chose (or didn’t), to not play the last league game of the season, finishing with an incredible 29 league goals and 36 in all competitions for juventus (something not easy to do in Italy, yet the season before he hit 31 league goals, 37 in all competitions, and in his first season managing 21 league goals 28 in all comps…in a players’ first season adapting under a very conservative stylized manager more focused on defence in a league that focuses on clean sheets and defence more than goals.

This version of Ronaldo is so overlooked and highly underrated it's as if moving to a new team/league he became a different player it revived him like he had a point to prove, he seemed so hungry to do well because his dribbling was better, he became less selfish, more involved in team play, dropping deep to start attacks he was better at Juve than his past 2 seasons at Madrid. He did everything and tried everything at Juve 2018-2021 was the last best version of Ronaldo and it was wasted with awful team mates/managers
His time at Juve he was still the best player in the world, at 33-36 he still had so much more to give but the Juve board/team mates let him down unfortunately because with better signings Ronaldo wins Juve a UCL and he would have won another Ballon D'or. i cant name a player who had different stages of career as Ronaldo had. in madrid he was the vital part of the various systems they had. not to mention he was once part of a rebuilding squad. i honestly dont have a favourite version of him since all versions of him had different purposes and all are equally good. what i wouldnt do to experience them as it was my first.
