@@Warratron I hope this doesn't sound arrogant but I have been watching MLB mostly my favorite team the Toronto Blue Jays but being a guy who played in the minors briefly, I just love baseball and follow the whole league as much as I can and I have seen teams like the Blue Jays (the Jays being here before) have a won't quit-won't lose rollercoaster ride to an eventual W. I have also seen a team get beat so badly that it woke them up in time for a run. I am happy to see this VERY young Jays squad be ahead of schedule and that is thanks to Ross Atkins getting the right guys to help them become a winning Ball team. Springer despite his lack of time in the lineup has been huge showing these young fellas to balance their youthful exuberance with being consumate professional. Marcus Simien has been a leader by example. My favorite trade was just before spring training and that was getting Steven Matz I knew he would be a good guy in the rather anemic looking rotation. I was also baffled by the decision to wait for the date when you can bring guys up without losing one year of service time with Alex Mahnoah. And then getting Berrios at the deadline was perfect because now they are a top 5 team where the rotation is concerned, a bullpen that has settled down and is now in good shape, and of course they have the best offence in the league ... This team is going to the playoffs. Furthermore they are going to be the team that represents the AL in the World Series, from that point it's a toss up between them and the Dodgers.

Kid on right side, 2nd row:
6:20 count 1 and 2, he's wearing his blue Blue Jays jersey.
7:40 count 2 and 2, suddenly he's wearing a red jersey, focused intently on the at bat
8:18 as Semien makes contact, the kid is immediately standing and removing the jersey -- his own personal walk-off ritual, I presume

Pretty similar to the comeback against the Rays in 2018
    Jays down 8-2
Gurriel Jr. game tying home run on 1st pitch with 2 outs
And unfortunately for Romo, he blew a 2-run lead in the 9th, capped off by a walk-off homer

What I liked was Romo giving thanks and praise after giving up the homer. Usually you only see athletes do it when they hit a homer or get a hit. He showed that he is thankful to even play and is grateful, albeit in a losing effort. He’s won championships before, it just wasn’t his night. Go Jays Go!!!

I remember watching this game and hearing Canha yelling "boom" as loud as he possibly could to his teammates during his homerun celebration @ 3:20. I bet he thought "game over" at that moment. I absolutely think he was totally giving it to the jays and their fans after he just watched their grand slam celebration. I would love to have seen his face after Semien's homerun.
