- All the planning in the world is wasted if we never actually execute the plan. The good news is that we can take action to change our lives while we are still afraid. Take the leap scared! The 'courage' comes after the fact.

Holy sh*t Tim, I literally woke up feeling hella anxious because I am ready to quit my job and leave this city. I was praying in my head that I just needed a sign, 1 sign, on what direction to take. And then this this video drops. 😲
Daaammm you an me both I been feelin this way the last few weeks
Whooooooooah😮
I quit my job last Tuesday because of high anxiety induced insomnia.
@@vanessarenda1393 have you bn feeling better
Do it!!!
Someone said "Fear and faith involve believing something that you cannot see, it's your choice what you will believe."
That’s a great quote!
Nice quote.
❤️
This is a good one
In my experience, faith is letting go of belief and finding that the abyss I've fallen into is actually a feather bed.
"Fear kills more dreams than failure ever will." That's one of my favorite quotes to live by.
I left the City of Brotherly Love back in 1997. After the loss of my mother @ 20 years old. I was on a spiraling road of sadness and depression while raising my infant son.. I finally knew I had to do something different or possibly go down hill , and I knew my son deserved more. I saved my $ and moved to Florida where my mother's sister lived and started a fresh new life. THANK YOU GOD I did it. Our lives would not be where we are now, and that is a peace that I now have within, alongside of happiness... JUST DO IT !!!!! Guys.. You live ONCE
You have to just go to bed tonight and call this next day your bitch. This world is cold so have faith in yourself that you can beat this day like nobody beat it before
Paralysis by analysis is real and it's why a lot of people never actually do the things they want to do. They "What if?" themselves into a box and never take a risk. Once you take a leap of faith you'll be amazed at how easy it actually was and you were stressed out over nothing.
That always happens to me. Nothing is ever as bad as I expect to be. We suffer more in our minds than in real life. Have a blessed day.
Great advice. Fear of the unknown can be paralyzing.
Destiny doesn't make house calls. You have to be out there.
This!
Great quote! So very true...
Tim you are a really big influence to me. coming from a person that's not easily influenced. In my mind you won the game of life, you don't ever have to work a regular job again, the most important part is that you travel for a living. Most people would kill to be in your position. You opened alot of peoples eyes about the rigged job force.
“One moment can change a day, One day can change a life and One life can change the world”
- Gautama BUDDHA
Going after things and trying them and failing has saved my mental health more than WAITING. Amen.
When youve had too much of bullshit, I mean way toooo much of it, you finally have the courage to do big changes.
You just wait for the point it gets there.
I am terrified of heights, and I went skydiving for my 45th birthday. I like to do something terrifying every 5 years, just to put everything else in perspective.
That’s a great idea!
That's awesome! I'm 44 and planning that for myself.
Brother is always on divine timing. Love from the UK 🙏🏾

Lots of "yep" from me watching this. Good philosophy.
My dad always said “you should be scared. If you’re making major life changes and you’re NOT scared, there would be something wrong with you.”
And I never really thought about it but I agree, Tim. You don’t realize you’ve been courageous until you’ve done it, look at what you done and realize wow! Look what i did.
The first step is the hardest.
"reality is fluid" I like that
Your wisdom cheers my soul.
I had been listening to Tim's videos..last Friday I just thought..I can't waste my life here. I put my badge in my drawer and I walked out..I'm not gonna lie. I'm concerned. But this has been the best week I've had in a long time. I feel hopeful as a pose to feeling doom daily. U feel sooooo much better. I've been doing functional resumes. And visiting family. It's been great. I appreciate Tim !
You're in law enforcement?
Glad to hear you’ve been having a great week! Keep enjoying your life. And good luck with your next job/adventure!
Amazing advice. Thank you!
Watched a lady do a scooter trip across many countries. She was told this and that on how she should do it. She said “go have your own adventure” “I’m doing it, go make your own”
"... In the moment, you're SHOOKETH !!! "
I'm Motivated by people that are less fortunate everytime I complain I think to myself it's a person dying to stand in my position. Respect
Energy follows thoughts
I was always the strongest and most courages person I know, but this leap thing is another level 👀
I never thought there would be this “threshold”, I never saw it (cos never standing in front of it) and it’s in the most weird way the scariest thing ever 🙏🏼 and the scariest thing is the thought “what if I’m too afraid to make the leap and will then live a life always regretting it?” This is more scary so I think I’ll just do it…soon…now…😅
Regret is one of the worst feelings imaginable. I use fear of regret as a motivator all the time too.
It's always good to see a video from you!
Hope you're doing well!
It’s so good to see your videos 😊🫂💚 God bless you!
This is reminding me to get moving. Thanks, Tim.
I'm about to go through this right now. I got laid off from a very good paying job and I think I'm done with that career and I also think it's time to purge a great deal of My things and I am going to start over.
Good luck on your future adventures!
BLESSINGS TO YOU.. YOU WILL MAKE IT
5 years ago my Dad died….I fought my fear and quit my job, sold my home and moved to another state 800 miles away where I knew no one…..best decision ever and listen to my gut closer now. If I’m scared to try I know it’s a must try for me, life is too short.
I know that feeling. Losing a loved one like that will make you realize that life is too short, and it’s time to get started on doing what you want or love.
I love this guy , I wish I could have the balls to do that, but I'm so afraid at this point in my life
Same here
@@PraveenSrJ01 You're afraid with good reason. What he's doing is hella dangerous and not wise at all. True, nothing is guaranteed. However, the life that he's chosen comes with many more challenges and none of the safety nets that others of us can count on. I wouldn't copy him.
@@misspriss2482 that isn’t very nice to put out there so bluntly.
Thank you for all you do brother!
My pleasure!
I needed this video I’m about to quit my job
Thanks Tim your pretty funny dude. After watching the vid and reading couple comments ,I remember the movie batman begins .The scene where he has to get out the prison he has climb and he use the rope so if he falls he doesn't fall to his death, then the blind man tells him to jump without the rope so the fear can find him as he moves up without the rope bats come flying out a fear of Bruce wayne as a child to become more intense so he can make that leap. The whole symbol of scene is that your mind is stuck in a prison as you move up in levels fear will happen to get you to make a leap courage to exit out the prison.
I am in this situation now. Quiting my well paid job and move to city with better comfort. I have no new job and I know it will be difficult. Not even sure I want to go back to a percent one. But hey, life is short and maybe it’s my last summer and I spend it in place I don’t like.
I started over at least 10 times in my life. Most of those involved me not even considering that I was starting over. I just did it. Make a decision or someone will make a decision for you. I will say that through meditation and stoic philosophy I understand that staying present helps immensely. Yesterday no longer exists and tomorrow doesn't either, only now. That now is an unknown arena for most people. The unknown is where the magic happens, and unfortunately fear of the unknown is what holds us back.
Great video and great background man. Wish I was there right now.
‘The unknown is where the magic happens’, I love that!
Well said, Tim! Swimming against the current is tough out here!🐬🌊
Yes, it takes effort… tho keep in mind that only dead fish flow with the stream.
I just love the intro of you stepping in the video with your head down and then the outro leaving us with the nature again 👏🏽😌
This is a timely message I’m seemingly getting cooked daily by life, we need encouragement that we’ve got some control over ourselves. I see harder times unfortunately are coming.
Thank you I need this Today
Yep, I’m at the 💯 no more f*cks to give, try or die phase of life. 😆
It’s a great phase! 😁
it was definitely boredom that kickstarted my jump into a seasonal work lifestyle. three+ years at the same job with no upward mobility, a horrible commute, and hefty rent for a tiny room with roommates. no thanks! the risks never scared me, but i was nervous about leaving my social circle. then i realized they were too busy with their careers and partners to hang out as often as i wanted to, so if i can only see them a couple times a year either way, might as well do what i want in the in-between! and i know that no matter what happens, i will either be okay, or i'll just die doing what i want lmao
Like Snap, Timothy’s got the power even when things are getting kind of heavy. And if some people think we’re crazy for following our hearts, then we need to be like the singer Seal.
I super appreciate your positive messages. Really kind and helpful.
Hey Tim, I stumbled across your channel today and watched 4 or 5 of your videos.. what you say really resonates with me. Thanks for the uplifting, funny and motivational conversations that I have taken to heart. I am planning an 800-mile road trip to North Carolina as I write and am anxious about driving to be honest. "Do it scared" if you have to, is what you advised and I like that!
Hello Heidi! Welcome to the channel/community! I hope you have a great time on your road trip!
It is so refreshing to hear this message co firming back what we ALL must face, in order to grow. Do it die. I must take the leap because I can’t no longer live with the alternative of not trying. Another wasted life! Ty sir
once again the right video at the right time!! I need to quit letting fear take the wheel and hold me back. its okay for fear to be there but she needs to sit all the way in the trunk, underneath stuff lol. thank you for this inspiring video!!! now have to spend the next couple months saving and then will be taking a leap of faith into a new career path. my soul is craving something different and more meaningful and this was the kick in the butt I needed!! thank you!!
You can take action even when you’re afraid! SO TRUE! Love that!
I read the book Feel The Fear and Do It Anyway many years ago… yup, confidence comes after the leap, not before.
I think maybe the key is ALSO having some excitement for the leap. Without it, can get stuck in the fear.
And even before that, it’s knowing WHAT you want to leap to. Right now, I don’t, but I know I wanna leap, and I’m ready.
I think the bottom line is to be brutally honest. That's where is the stumbling point where most fall. Fear has to be replaced with faith.
You are so fricken hilarious!! Haha ❤
We don't find our courage until we take action while experiencing fear. Sometimes the fear has to be intense enough to motivate us to take action and thus find our courage. By taking action we focus on our goal and the steps we are taking towards the goal which lessens the intensity of the fear... even taking a small step that shows the result we're going for gives us some courage to keep going to the next step and the next and the next. But even to try and fail when failure is what we fear shows us we have the courage to have another go at it and usually with more knowledge and information than before.
Love you brother 🙏🏻
Love you too!
Interesting how you have mentioned this before but it actually has a great effect on it being repetitive consistent an reinforced definitely appreciated
Maybe it’s just your energy
🙏🏼🙌🏼appreciated
Tim is NOT a motivational speaker, he is a speaker by the thrust of his motivation.. "Think about it"
When I was in the military I hated it but missed the traveling. Maybe it’s time I get a risky contract job overseas or atleast apply. Everyone is broke and burnt out here anyway 😅
Himothy dropping priceless gems again! Your perspective is always refreshing.
Thank you!
Thanks for these inspiring videos, Tim!

Always timely. Hope you are doing well ❤
Thank-you! For I found this video to be insightful, and it has given me just the push I needed, to accomplish dreams, and to continue confidently stepping out and standing out in every area of my life. 🎯
My hubs and I have been planning to go full-time in our little camper since 2013. We are very close, waiting for our 20+ yr old cat to pass because he doesn’t like the camper. It’s so difficult to go against the grain of society and choose a lifestyle that is totally “abnormal”!!! I totally relate to your feeling of knowing SOMETHING has to change. That’s how I feel, this life we’re living is not what I want, I need a simpler, more nature based daily life. Thanks for the inspiration!
It's not always about courage though. Stress comes with whatever lifestyle you choose. The kind of stress that people want to put up with is up to each individual. I work an office job, but that doesn't mean that I have to be a drone and miss out on life outside of work. There is such a thing as balance. Your choice is not for me, but good luck.
Mate, this is the predicament I'm in right now. It's about leaving for something the other side of the world. I'm scared of what's out there or even what happens in the future if I don't go for it. Especially in these times mate, uncertain that they are.
Cheers fella, appreciate you

Today I went outside for a walk. Had agoraphobia for a year. Which means I was too scared to go outside for a walk. Slowly overcoming my fears.
Great advice bro as always 🇬🇧👍
Stay strong bud Thankyou
Hey Tim, just wanted you to know that I have seen quite a few of your videos over the last couple of years and you are definitely my dude when it comes to this stuff. I am in the middle of trying to do something REALLY off the beaten path with my life. Anyway, your content is almost always on the right frequency. Just know that you are helping people man. Keep it up and thanks!
If you don’t take action on a meaningful goal it will never be off your mind, the only way to remove the desire to achieve is to achieve!
PREACH IT❤❤❤ I love it when I hear someone who speaks common sense. Thank you!
Tim's videos convinced me that I needed to make a big change in my life, but I couldn't have done it without the right music. Music can reach me at a very deep emotional level that words cannot. In my particular case, psychedelic funk/jazz. It allowed me the emotional release necessary to actually take that first step.
You should check out a song called Beneath the mask from persona. Bet you like it.
I can’t express how much I needed this today, been at my job 9 years, I’m unhappy but comfortable, and leaving to go be a supervisor at a small company. It’s what I want but I’m scared shitless.
The current place keeps dangling the carrot of moving up, but it never happens.
Glad my video could help. Good luck at your new job. I know you are going to crush it!
Thank you Tim. I kinda feel like I already knew this, but a lot of the time I need to hear someone else say things so I can believe myself. The part about the atoms makes perfect sense to me. Thank you again Tim. Have a blessed day.
Super proud of you bruh you have inspired so many people to let go and live keep God 1st lil bruh and continue the positive vibes!💯
I appreciate you saying that brother. You know you played a big part in setting me on this path in life. Can’t wait to get up with you again soon!
I get what you're saying. Tim, you're saying there ain't nothing to it but to do it. I know that life can be challenging and we can at times feel overwhelmed or exhausted. Being a warrior when life gets hard and retreat back into the comfort zone. The comfort zone is a great place to retreat and heal, but the problem with the comfort zone is you can get stuck there because a lot of us would avoid pain for pleasure. When life is going good it's easy to feel confident, but when the traumas and hard times arrive Life doesn't feel so easy. Some people say life is a walk in the park and some people say it's more like Jurassic Park
The company I worked for did me a solid when they let me go after 18 years. I probably wouldn’t have quit. The best feeling is making it happen on my own. Digging in and getting it done whatever “it” is.
8:02 is sooo funny
I always jump for joy when I see a new video from you. Ilyy ❤
