I think if the teak decking was replaced by non slip decking it would better longer term and almost maintenance free.

do any manufacturer any 36 -38 feet with aft cabin on a nelson hull? i can only find preowned none brand new!

Pretty little boat; sadly, way too small for me. We carry five people full time, with occasional adult children come to visit... nothing this size is gonna work for us, I think, no matter how well it's designed. Occasional 50-55 footers are laid out to work for us, or the 40ft catamarans are fine, but not a 40-foot monohull.
