Love watching your runs, excellent work. My favorite part is when you get frustrated and shake the camera or blow some shells, can really feel those moments. So much communicated with the limited emotive expression available with doomguy.
This is definitely the most draining map to play. Comparing it to Demonic Hordes, I think it's probably just down to monster composition and selection in each room, and the linearity. I mean, just look at that Baron army for a perfect example, or the long hallway with Cacos, or any number of rooms in this map. There's really no opportunities for shortcuts and fast routes. You kinda just have to trudge through each section one at a time.
@@thesoulingredient06 so there *is* a tiny little corner of Doom I’m better at! I’ve only been playing Doom (and fast computer games) for slightly less than a year and I haven’t quite completed TNT:E yet (UV, pistol start, 100% everything). I’m surprised that there are so many little things to learn and commit to muscle memory. I had NOT expected that before I began my little Doom “experiment”.
@peterfireflylund Yeah I feel that. You'd expect a 30 year old game like Doom to be simpler but there's honestly some complexity to the muscle memory you have to develop. Dealing with individual and groups of monsters require some real focus at times. That's why practice and repetition go far in Doom. It's about learning the best ways to deal with everything as you experience more and more variations of monster compositions.
Yeah, in a way i agree with you. It's one of those midis that can really only be listened to in the context of the map. It's certainly not the most enjoyable tune in the midi pack lol. I think that's one of the intentions behind it though.
Getting that Mega Armor was a trip ✈ Incredible Run Soul ☄
Great work! 👌🏻

Thank you! I try to keep my cool most of the time, but that jump just pissed me off 😂
Playing this level makes me want to sleep, not out of boredom but rather fatigue. I don't know why it's only this one that does that.

When a pinkie stops in front of you because you block it, why don’t you step a little backwards so it can’t bite you?
I did that a lot starting here (1:22) and before that. But sometimes, I am just genuinely not focusing in that moment, so I occasionally get bit.

I find the music portenious, even draining. I would not want to listen to that again
