So what is this sound engineer doing here that is so unique and more deserving of recognition than any other, just wondering because I dont know much about sound engineering and this sounds as clear and nice and crisp and nuanced as any other recording, what am I missing
FuzzyDancingBear just listen the audio of any artist who came there. It's not bad but it's definitly less powerful
Whilst it's a very clean recording with a lot of reverb, the technician needs to work on his pitch correction skills (1:13)

I just had my first listening of Joy Crookes on NPR'S The Arts Hour and I'm HOOKED! Her sound IMHO is like a Magical Blend of Corinne Bailey Rae,Erykah Badu & Amy Winehouse and probably a few others!
