i’ve thought about this before, and i do agree. but the thing is, i feel as if most regular beyblades are best shape wise with brackets. but there are still many exceptions such as valkyrie, fafnir, or other beys with less or more than 4 sides, so maybe people should give beys like those special shapes like that. Edit: Ok, I know it's been well over 2 years at this point, but I've gained a lot more knowledge on Lego beys and wanted to share it. The problem with what I said here was that my understanding of unique Lego Beyblades all boiled down to a number of sides. For example, I pushed my triangle base and my 3 and 6 bladed designs. The issue is that I was pigeonholing myself into this mindset and never really explored things like unique bracket structures. Even with a limited amount of parts, 2x4 bracket beys and what I call "H Bracket beys" which I used for Wizardarrow, are still easy to make. But now, many of my newer beys have a unique base that's not shared with any other Beyblade. So the lesson here is don't maker the same mistake that I did a couple years back, and experiment with new bracket bases.
I can see how one would think that. But to me, even 2-sided or 4-sided designs should still try to be built a different way nowadays (not necessarily with a different number of sides) since all of the basic shapes have already been used.
The thing that fascinates me about this community is that you have the power to Create something that you desire. I always thought that the reason this community was so interesting is to think that Each Design is unique and different from each other. So it absolutely sucks that most designs almost look no different from each other. The whole point of this community is to create something unique, So I really Appreciate the diversity of your designs. And I hope we could make this dream of yours a reality
First off I'm not a LBB creator or anything but I do use lego and watch the different LBB creators and u made valid points throughout the video and I agree with you, your masterpieces are mostly overlooked and underappreciated, and the other LBB creators need to step up their game. Well that's just my opinion and btw looking forward to the next new bey.
The 4x4 bracket is the most simple Lego beyblade design, not to mention the many different creations with that. I guess people are a little more used to that
I’ve tried making beys like you have but all I end up making is a 4x4 bracket. I think the problem is that other design are a good bit more challenging but I could be wrong
I build Lego beyblades with with the 2x2x1 circles with rounded off bottoms as the bottom part that does the spinning, a 4x4 circle slab as the building base, and 1x1x2 barrel or tip as a way to start the spinning
All my life, I haven't even TRIED using 4x4 bracket. It just seems LAZY yo me, not putting so much effort to make it accurate is just TRASH, you were my biggest inspiration of my LIFE. But seeing this, your so much more than an inspiration now.
I look at it this way: 4x4 brackets just work best(and look more acurate), because let's be honest, for someone maybe starting off these pieces are prolly more accessible, compared to your designs with metal. I can definitely agree with you about a lack of creativity but there really hasn't been anyone to show a better way to do it, and I'm not saying the way you design your Lego beyblades is bad, I just feel like the 4x4 bracket works best. (I use it in my own design so my opinion could be biased). Also, as someone who had tried making 3 bladed designs, I end up failing when it comes to launching and making the rest of the parts work. I'm sure someone will figure it out tho.
I think a big part of this is the fact that the 4x4 bracket design actually started back with the metal fight series cuz that was imo the best ways to make those types of beys in lego and I think everyone just carried that idea over when burst was released. And for lego burst I mean yeah it works with some of the beys but I would like to see more variety of the designs, especially since I think that burst is more complex than the metal fight designs
I wasn't talking about myself in this video, as the whole reason I made it was that I felt like I was the only one making "unique" designs. But otherwise lego phoenixes are usually not 4x4 bracket due to their gimmick
Okay, the only reason why I use 4x4 brackets is because I don’t have a lot of Legos, but I totally agree with you man. I’m also kinda… dumb. I’m NOT offened AT ALL btw. Only if I had enough Legos I’d actually make some designs like you. Then prolly not upload for another 2 months because I don’t like copying other Lego Beytuber designs. What I’m thinking is going back to the old days of Lego Beyblade from around 12-13 years ago. I’m sure you know them already. They have a Beyblade Wiki incase you wanted to see their designs. No hate man. I agree that the 4x4 has been used way too much. I do hear the dissapointment in your voice. Just hope everyone DOESN’T copy YOUR designs because that’s what I find amazing from your channel, and hopefully everyone else too. Designs that you brought into the community.
My beyblades are 6x4x1 plates with 2 brackets on both long sides. In the centre, two 2x2x1 squares are placed on top of eachother. Then I make the rest of the bey to have the holes for a real Burst launcher. It works
I am not a LBB RUclipsr, but I do build Lego, and only TWO of my beys have a 4x4 bracket, the rest are pretty light but effective designs. So I’m fine, although most my beys are 4x4 or 6x6, I don’t have a lot of brackets, so I made do with what I have, I layer plates and bricks mainly to make the shape.
I LOVE your designs but I'd like a Lego beyblade to stay together when i launch a bit harder which is why 4x4 brackets are popular in my opinion, they are very sturdy.
I've made my own lego beyblade system with out the 4x4's as I don't have many snot bricks and it's worked alright but i've had to make them pretty big to account for the gimmicks which makes themstop spinning after 2 hits due to the sharp contacts.
Its an interesting scenario. For instance all beyblades of a given generation have the same central part, and the unique aspects are the bits on the outside, and hwo they interact. So theoretically every bey being a square bracket design follows what standard beyblade kindof has hah.
That’s true, but the thing is this pattern has been going on for years and years with no change in the Lego Beyblade community. It sucks for design because unlike real Beyblade generations, there are not that many designs that can be built out from the central structure (if there are any unique ones left at all)
Imma be honest with you LegoBeyz you are without a doubt the best LBB RUclipsr out there, your design and gimmicks take so much time and effort, it’s awesome, I really do enjoy watching you dude😊

So a lot of bets I made after I thought Lego beyblade idea was cool, we’re completely round with some contact points from maybe on top of or underneath the layer
I agree I mean 4x4 brackets are literally every where I was able to make something new but still square if you look at my oldest video which and the creavity in the community is low but now that low but I think there should be something new
I made a maximum garuda bey that includes circular pieces for the forge disc and it is very large, yes I use 4 stud brackets but it doesnt only use that
Yea, I've made my 3 Beyblades as 4x4 bracket cause it was all I had, I only had a good 30 dollars to work with and I couldn't order the pieces I wanted, so I had to buy a cheap set from the store and get some others id wanted from the Lego store, but these people have THOUSANDS of pieces, surely they can do something with them.
I agree it’s so frustrating it makes nearly everything the exact same design but different colours it’s also like every beytuber has the feeling to name it with 2 names example Quintilian quaza not just quaza obvious I’m not pointing at quaza as it has many evolutions but when people make a custom they don’t need 2 names and half the time they aren’t original obviously this also doesn’t have anything to do with when they make original beys example astral spriggan although I’m with you add diversity idk mabye add something like wooden blades
