Love the song but why some korean idols perform like they hate what they are doing they look bland and unhappy while performing no energy is that normal over there ? Or maybe is just cultural? 🤷🏻♀️
I thinks because it depends on mood of song. Something is about a spouse who cheat and these girls found out, they start asked is their love not enough or a joke? So maybe they just blend the mood in. For example you can watch CBX from Exo perform Ka Ching at Japan concert, they all smiling an laughing, because the song is a about live happily tho. I don't know if this even make senses to u but hope it helps 😅
Like the above comment, this song is about a cheating spouse, is you read up the lyrics. And you can tell that the song is meant to be serious. They look lively for other high energy songs like Ring My Bell. As for other idols, it might be the same or they are really just tired or unhappy. I mean, not everyone loves their job. And some idols are overworked as hell.
Though some of them smile during the performance, it's just like what the comments above said. A good preformer always needs to deliver good facial expressions depending on the song (or whatever else such as acts, theatreand all that).
