@@julaiarnold641 hindi pinasara ang abs . Wala expire franchise nila kaya hindi naka pag operate. Binigyan sila ng pag kakataon at nag hearing sa renewal ng franchise kaya lang hindi na approve ng nooy bumubuo ng congress.
Back ground lang, na expire ang franchise ng abs 2015 panahon ni Pnoy pero hindi nila ni renew. 2016 panaho ni F PRRD ginawa ng NTC (congress) binigyan ng provisional autority para maka pag operate kasi ng expire na. Ilang taon nag operate ng walang franchise hangang sa dininig sa congress franchise renewal nila pero hindi napag bigyan kanilang hiling. Nag karoon ng due process ang abs. Kung may nakita silang may pag labag at abuso ng congress dapat pumuta sila supreme court pero hindi nila ginawa. Ang Smni may existing franchise .

kudos to Atty. Tolentino, how can it be not about press freedom when a media like SMNI only asks questions about the budget of the House Speaker they were immediately summoned to the Congress. Being a government official you are bound to criticism, there were already many government officials who were bombarded with criticism just like FPRRD not only that he was accused of EJK, but did he summon those who uttered bad things about him? and even Congress itself were speechless but now you only ask about the budget of the house speaker you will be investigated.

If abs-cbn is left to air even though the franchise has expired and there is no tax payment, how come we who are singled out, small and poor who do not obey the law and do not pay taxes are imprisoned? It is unfair if that happens because oligarchs have the power in the government or only those with money are safe if they commit a crime and we will not really progress if congressmen and senators have kick-backs from conglomerate companies. If abs-cbn, gma, tv5, cnn and rappler are really biased towards pinklawan politics or communist politics, their politics will win, what if they blink? Or won't communist politics win? The mainstream media should be neutral in reporting and providing information so that the people are not fooled, it would be ok if what was supported in the mainstream media did not blink. If someone blinks and doesn't pay taxes maybe the only ones who get rich especially those in politics, mainstream media and oligarchs while the people are suffering how can our government be called a unitary-bicameral-presidential-republic-democracy?
