Best for Japan to stay neutral and not taking sides in order for Japan to excel. G7 is in deep economic troubles and particularly Germany, France and U.S.A. The world is now changing to multi-polar with BRICS on the rise. It will make G7 more difficult to sustain and recover. G7 is shaky if you scan on their financial statements and growth....the power houses are now in Asia with strong GDP and focused in business instead of wars. Military wise, G7 can no longer a dominant player, the tech rise in China and Russia can confront the G7 in no time. Japan should rethink and realign their foreign policy is a must or otherwise, Japan will be the next Germany.

Historically neutral & not member of any military alliances. Similar to Austria & Ireland or the destroyed Yugoslavia that the EU wanted to copy but karma came back after they helped destroy it (particularly Germany as revenge for holding them to attack the USSR sooner in WW2 & to have the German language across Europe).

Are you serious? Japan colonizing China? You must not have the idea how big China is! All other tribes, like the Mongols, the Manchus who attempted, finally were incorporated into China. Japan would have the same fate. China as a nation is an enigma to the western concept of a nation or country. China is its people. No matter the governing power. If Japan were able to conquer China, which it did not, despite of the fractured condition of China then, it would surely follow the fate of those predecessors. - Japan would.become part of China. BTW, talking about the credit of USA helping China, China, surely would be forever grateful and give due respect to it. But people should know more about how the war was won. In order for USA to be able to get in China, research on how the Chinese people, children, women, old people sacrifice to forge ways for the help from USA. USA is helpless without those incredible feats of Chinese determination. This is just a little eye opener for us who are forever under the western narratives of everything.
