I just ordered the Siser Romeo largely because of the matless cutting and large print and cut area. I'm coming over from years with using Cricut machines. I loved that you were honest about the frustrations and showing us what the problem was and how to fix it. Last night I downloaded the software for Romeo and was playing around with it with an open mind. Some things annoyed me like that curve text is part of the monthly subscription but it also gave me trying to figure out a way around the annoyance which is something I mostly enjoy when no one is bothering me. :) Keep up the good work!

Oooh I’m excited for you! You’re gonna LOVE the machine. You’ll get used to it and then your Cricut will be so jealous and collecting dust. It is def different than Cricut but for the better. I’m happy to hear you liked the tutorial. I’ve got some Leonardo ones on my page now and more coming. Stickers are actually airing tomorrow.

Oh dear! As someone who HAS used the commercial type machines, I winced when I saw that blade sticking out! Glad you are giving Juliet a chance. As you say, it is a learning curve - but it really isn't hard. You can import SVGs to use, so you can always design in other software and import too. The freedom to use different mats, and later, I hope, different tools, is great.

I like the cardboard box you made for your Loctite spray. I do lots of 3D printing, and I use Aquanet hair spray because it has a specific chemical that allows the plastic to better stick to the build plate. I have it wired so Alexa turns on a fan and blows the hairspray out of the window. Thanks for your awesome videos! I'm a new fan! -Michael :)

Credit card thickness or less is usually ideal for most cutters. I use a commercial cutter but was thinking about getting the Juliet as a back up and for hats since I use flock and brick for hats a lot I like the fact you can use their siser htv presets. But I really wish it was 15” since that’s mostly what I buy. I may wait for the Romeo.

    A few questions...
Can the offset be added from the canvas rather than during the upload/ opening of a file?
    2) is it possible to kiss cut, die cut, and easy peel cut stickers?
    3) is there a warranty?
    4) how is the customer service?
    5) what features do you wish it had/miss?
    6) lastly, is it possible to export files to use with other cutting machines? That's one of the reasons I like the silhouette software, I can create a project and export it in other formats.

    • @TheCraftyBrick

      HI there Andrea,
      1. Yes the offset can be applied in the canvas. It opens up the offset window but you don't have to do when you import the file.
      2. yes it is
      3. I believe there is a 1 year warranty
      4. i think the customer service and the company is great. There is also a Siser support group on FB you can join
      5. I wish it could cut a wider range of materials
      6. There are some changes coming that I think you will be happy about. They will be announced via a live by siser north america on July 11th at 12CST
Let me know if you have any other questions.

Over a month and no new update on it. Read a review on google on the Juliet from a customer who bought and said the the Leonardo software was broken and that's why RUclips influencers have not uploaded new videos on it.
