There is a quote that goes by "You will never understand your parent's value, until you see the empty chair". Thank you boss Rex for the unsolicited advice for Carlos & Nanay Angelica. We all learned a lot from this viral family feud. Since they're now public figures, everyone had their own "fair share" and we respect that. "Panalo ang wisdom nyo boss!" which "fair and square" on both sides. There is a quote that goes like “a mother is afraid of the world for us, but she doesn’t know that we are afraid of the world without her”
I agree po in your perspectivè that children arent responsible for their parents' retirement. But as part of the family there is also like children's responsibilty to look into the welfare of the parents as an expression of their love and care for them. But all of these things shall be done out of love for each other. No compulsion or coirsion. Love is a free expression of appreciation and gratefulness.
Values begin at home, and the environment shapes a child's growth. In the end, family bonds, guided by love and respect, are most important. Money and wealth are just tools that should be used with positive values. Kaya nga ang "utang na loob ay dapat tinatanaw hindi hinihingi" Thank you so much, Boss Rex, for this amazing video!
Thank you po Sir Rex!
Thank you. Filipinos have a culture of having too many children that they can't afford to provide food, clothing and shelter then expect the older children to give funds to raise the other kids. It's very selfish parenting. I see this all the time. They can be the nicest people but they are not being fair to their children. It's their responsibility as parents to provide for the children and if they can't afford it, they should only have one child. I don't understand why if they're already struggling financially without children, why have 5 kids after marriage?

Sana pamanood nya itong mensahe nyo sa kanilang pamilya and give them a lightbulb wisdom being a good steward of his money that requires intentionality, discipline, and a commitment to aligning your financial decisions with God's principles. #carlosyulo #angelicayulo #eldrewyulo #cynthiacarrion
Our generation holds the key to creating a brighter future. As we work towards financial independence to secure our lives and set a positive example for the next generation, we must also recognize that our parents may not have had the same opportunities. It is now our turn to support them, just as they supported us, and to break the cycle of financial stress. By doing so, we ensure that our children can grow up free to pursue their dreams, unburdened by past challenges. The change starts with the choices we make today.

Sandwich gen, is old school thinking. Individual wealth is every individual's responsibility
Hehehe my mother's maiden name is Esperanza Mangubat Mendoza.
Also I dont think any parent would want to bear a child and give birth to him purposely as an investment in his old age.
I want to be Spiritually rich too not just in terms of financials and material possessions. 🙏🥹
