Each biscuit bar is just under 300 calories and I practice hiking and wild camping on only 2 bars a day. I have managed 72 hours so far.

If its dried food which is sealed, it should be still edible regardless of date
It doesn't matter how tight its sealed or if it's dried everything expires over time.
