I didn’t take 8th grade math seriously and didn’t learn much, instead hanging out with friends. In 9th grade, I faced the same issue and now I have to repeat algebra and take geometry in 10th grade. I’m worried about falling behind, but I’m hoping to catch up quickly and learn everything I missed.
@SaraRive High school geometry WITHOUT completing Algebra 1 first will be extremely confusing. Taking geometry in in 10th grade is very typical in the USA. You could watch my 8th Grade playlist and finish it in 3 months if you watched everyday. Watch my Algebra 1 playlist and finish it in about 4 or 5 months, then this Geometry playlist. I guarantee you'd get a B or higher on your report cards. It depends on how successful you decide you want to be. You can also just watch this Geometry one and try to get a passing grade. Some students DO take Alg 2 after Alg 1, then take geometry. But most sandwich geometry between them. If you did both algebras, this will be somewhat easy. 🙂
My school is different than the rest of the schools it's the same thing but not in the economies I pass algebra 1 in the freshman year and I'm doing geometry in the sophomore year
Hi i failed geometry 3 times in highschool i did manage to get my Diploma but i would like to learn Geometry for fun. could i just watch these videos without prior knowledge or should i go and learn something before doing this?
Some Algebra 1 is used in high school geometry. I do explain quite a bit. My advice is to start watching the videos, if it seems like it's over your head, then watch my algebra 1 playlist. But my high school geometry playlist is everything that is expected to learn for high school geometry. :-)

I'm not familiar with any RUclips channels for grammar, but the best way to increase your vocabulary, and the quality of your grammar, is to read many books. Some books are for some people and others are for others. If you read the first page and don't like it, then choose a different book. There's different types of reading. There is reading to learn, reading for enjoyment in which you savor every word, then there is reading to scan for information. Try to find a book that you will enjoy and savor every word and every page, and when it's finished you wish there was more. The more you read the more literate you will be. I think they cover just about everything that would be covered in an honors course except using computer software. I cover a little bit of trigonometry, we talked a little bit about radians, we do coordinate geometry, inductive and deductive reasoning. I think if you're ready, you'll breeze right through this playlist and understand everything.

I passed algebra 1 with a A before quarantine ended but I'm just scared that I'm not ready because I think I forgot most of those.
