Honestly, I couldn't care less about all their new cvo models. Except for the rich, who's buying these bikes? These are super exclusive, super expensive bikes. Besides the new touring bikes, which will only be $25k instead of $50k, i think these bikes are ridiculous! Did we wait all this time for a bunch more overpriced, exclusive motorcycles from Harley Davidson? Where are the bikes for the everyday rider, or did they already introduce them? Nothing new with that juicy 1250 rev max engine in it? No 975 adv bike? No street fighter? Did they build the Sportster S, no one likes it, so JZ decided to forget competing with the other motorcycle manufacturers and build new modern motorcycles that people actually want to ride, and focus on over priced garage queens for people like him?
Yeah, I could buy a $40-60k motorcycle too if I wanted. But because I'm not rich, that would be downright irresponsible of me. $20k for my LRS is more than enough. But hey, that's me. Anyone else can do whatever tgey want with their money and their motorcycle. They can have whatever opinion they want too. Even if it is wrong. Harley is not selling good right now. Especially in the middle sized markets. Like the sport range where the scout is kicking their ass. They need more rev max bikes! They need ones that people will actually buy! If someone wants a 1250 rev max bike that is not an adv bike or the Sportster S (like myself and the plethora of people calling for a street fighter) well, we have to go outside of Harley even though we don't want to and Harley has the engine for it. That makes zero sense from a business standpoint. Myself, and tons of people want a serious 1250 rev max bike like the Bronx or that Buell super cruiser they advertised a year ago! Harley can pull it off but instead they are adding to the cvo lineup because they bring a much higher profit margin. I have been waiting 3 years for something with that 1250 engine in it that is worth spending my money on. Looks like I'm going to keep waiting?
You are absolutely right , they keep building outrageously expensive bikes that only the privileged can afford !! You average Working stiff will have to buy a used bike
I have a cvo ultra, I don't consider myself that rich and she has 35k on her already. Just because you have an opinion and internet connection, doesn't make anything you say valid. Just like the video...stating Harley's are just getting more expensive, they are $2000 cheaper this year bike for bike.
Harley only getting more expensive and they are now "charging for vivid black" Blanket statement. The range this year is $2000 dollars cheaper across the whole line up... And vivid black is an optional paint that yes, is more expensive, but they don't sell unpainted bikes. Also if you add vivid black the bike still works out $1000 cheaper than the same bike last year....you must just have a dodgy dealer in your area.
Cheaper? Where are you seeing that? The low rider s for example was msrp’d at $18199 and in 2024 it’s coming in at $19,999 not including the vivid black upcharge.
@@IronBornRider must be your dealer....go watch Matt Laidlaw's video on the 2024 pricing, he's a Harley dealership and he does not apply a dealer mark up.
@@IronBornRider I agree shouldn't have to be wealthy to buy a nice sports car or a big 4x4 truck either. Just like anything if you cant have the model you want you settle for the model you can have

Where are you getting that info. I cited this article where the specials are not making it in 2024 www.motorcycle.com/bikes/new-model-preview/harley-davidson-cvo-road-glide-st-confirmed-44597941
Yes, I think so, because the Street Glide and Road Glide "standards" (was never an officiel name) have been dead in Europe for so many years already (since 2015 when the Specials came).
Following the European model line up. Standards have been dead a long time, since the moment specials came out. The trend lately is that they do things in Europe, and if it works, do it in the USA. We are like a test bed over here, but Harley has gone from relatively obscure to massive in this market.
Its "big reveals" like this that keeps Harley Davidson a laughing stock among serious manufacturers. While everyone else is actually developing and producing bikes people want to ride, Harley is focused on over priced bikes for rich people that probably won't acquire 10k mikes in their entire lives.
That looks awesome. And the speakers can be added
It looks pretty sweet I agree

i like the cvo because those parts and stuff trickle down to the rest of the bikes. seems like hd has a bike for every price point to me
