Just read the book!!! I have read Wattpad writers write a ten times better book. At first I thought Prajakta Koli must've hired a ghost writer to get her book written but after reading it I am a thousand percent sure that no professional person can write a book this cheesy and cringey. I'm not hating on her for writing it, the only thing is while researching it came to my notice that she has said she started reading romance novels in 2022 and she had this book ready to be published by 2024!!!! I mean I have been reading romance novels for almost 8 years now and I still think I need more exposure while she has written something you read a 14 year old write on free book aps. I feel like this book was completely written only to mark another checkbox and put herself out as an author as soon as she could. This one has no head, no feet and nothing on the inside. She needs time to pen down an actual story with something worth reading even if it's a feel good romance. It's not the worst book I have ever read but the amount of publicity and anticipation this book has gotten I definitely expected better!!!!!

For some reason I always love reading novels written by international authors,I can never connect with Indian authors when it comes to romcom coz they will never think out of box or give unique characters or try writing differently

The book spans 310 pages, and up until page 300, I was convinced that Aman was faking his love and setting a trap for Avani. It's not that someone like Aman couldn't exist-it's entirely possible. The issue lies in how the writer has portrayed him. Aman’s character lacks depth when it comes to his feelings for Avani. There's no insight into his thoughts about her or any meaningful discussions reflecting his emotions. What drew him to Avani from the moment he saw her? What made her special to him? Instead, he simply tells her she's gorgeous. Honestly, that feels underwhelming for a character in a novel.

So many influencers have come up with a book lately. I think it has become a trend. Do I want to read Prajakta Kolo’s book? No…judging by the kind of romances she recommends, no.
And after listening to your review, a big no.

  • @rucharajan9019

Why is everyone trying to make this book a part of reality? It’s a fictional book, the title conveys the same theme. Stop criticising her book on the basis of it being unrealistic. Romance books generally set a high bar of expectations. Moreover, it’s her first book, giver her some benefit of the doubt, let her make her mistakes, let her be a hopeless romantic and believe in the notion of love.

Hey I agree with your point, but the thing is that she has just given an honest review of the book from HER point of view. And she didn't spread hate in any shape or form targeting Prajakta. She just spoke about the book as to why she liked or disliked it like many people do.
And yes rahi baat mistakes ki toh I agree this is her first book some nuances here and there are obviously expected and accepted as well, but again she didn't 'criticize' Prajakta in the process, she gave a normal book review

I really *agree with your point in writing section* .... I don't read romance novels but as I follow her on Insta and a publisher like HarperCollins was promoting this I thought 'let's give it a try' but I could not finish a single page... the writing is pretty basic, maybe because I've read some gold literature books, her style of writing was bland to me... numerous filler words, especially the way she connected two sentences by simply adding 'AND' (my last straw there)... I'm okay with some filler words and even using the word 'and' for continuation but there should be a limit right? For eg. from a random page in the book I found almost 3/4 sentences which were formed using 'and' in a single para and that too was a para of 8/9 lines.... that' a lot no?
I feel like she had the resources and she should have used it properly...forget about the cliché story, lack of character depth and even a genre itself if you're using this sh*t as structures and calling it a novel, to me it's not more than a teenager writing a journal in her second language...
The hype is not worth it!

The moment I saw her recommended romance novels vedio....😂 I knew that I am not buying her book....because I hate the problematic romance novels, cringe content, lack of character depth and setting in the book that she recommended in her vedio. Just by seeing her suggestions I knew that she only reads fanfics and literally any shitty romance novel.
