Apparently Slipknot just put on a private show on April 25th and it was the first show with their new drummer Eloy Casagrande. They absolutely brought it and Eloy is going to be an unbelievable addition to the band! He has so much power and precision it is unreal! I'm brazilian and the first time I saw Eloy Casagrande live was coincidentally the same day I saw Slipknot live for the first time too. It was at 2011 Rock in Rio. Casagrande playing drums for his old band Gloria and Slipknot at the second to last show of the day. Now I have to meet these guys again! And I hope they come to Brazil soon!

@@setonhillstudios Brazil met Casagrande in 2003, when he was 12 years old, he participated in a very famous TV program here in Brazil, when he started playing it was clear that he had a lot of talent on the drums, so much so that he won the competition on that program

i watched eloy’s drum solo when he was 14 years old today, ya he’s a beast, im a former bm/death metal drummer and am 57 years old, never could get into these guys for some reason, BUT!!, after watching this performance well im definitely impressed!! great musicians for sure and the drumming power and timing for sure on point, definitely be keeping an eye on these guys in the future 🤘🤘🤘

Funny thing... In 2011 at rock in rio (brazil) eloy was playing in the same mainstage Slipknot later on would play. The brazilian crowd was booing eloy's band GLORIA. and now 13 years later he's playing with Slipknot....he's instagram double the number of followers after the announcment.
