I found the name of this place in a book. This is a Japanese book. And translate it into Bengali language. The book is written by Japanese author Satisha Yagisawa, the book is called Morisky Bookhouse Days. And then I did some research and found that the place actually exists and the place is as beautiful as the book...

I read that book too... but in Spanish and I loved it. That's why I'm here "walking" between these second hand libraries.

I just realized something: I’ve never actually seen Japan outside of movies and such which only show a small bit of what it is. Personally I really enjoyed this video because I got to see a little bit of the street life the way it actually is and to be honest I loved it way more than how it’s shown in media.
    Loved it! Thank you!

The station's walls look like a bookshelf 😍 That fits perfectly to 3:45. Such a gorgeous looking book store, and you've actually walked past it twice! 😆

Is there much in English? Like a section in some stores or special stores? If so I might need another suitcase. Anywhere anyone would recommend to find puzzle books or magazines? Not ordinary sudoku but all the variations? I bought a nice Japanese magazine in a Japanese bookstore in NYC once and never found another.

There are several stores in Jimbocho that specialize in English books or have sections with a good selection of them. In particular, Kitazawa Bookstore and Ogawa Books have a wide variety of English-language antique and foreign books, all in a classic, cozy atmosphere. Isshindo Bookstore is also well-known for its focus on English and foreign literature. For puzzle books or magazines, you might want to check out magnif, which offers a large collection of vintage magazines, and you might just find the kind of puzzle book you're looking for. (www.magnif.jp/)
I'm not sure how much you'll end up buying, so it’s hard to say if you'll need an extra suitcase. You can also purchase things directly at stores like AEON (イーオン)or Don Quijote(ドン・キホーテ), or order from Japan’s Amazon and have it delivered to your hotel. Depending on your needs, buying locally might be convenient. I’ve included more details about the bookstores and their websites in the video description, so feel free to check them out!

Thank you for your very interesting and useful video. I, too, came across Jimbocho in 'Days at the Morisaki Bookshop' and plan to visit the area when I'm in Tokyo next year. 'More Days at the Morisaki Bookshop' is also well worth reading. 📖📗📘📙📚
