Edgar Wright is one of those directors that never miss a movie and his movies are the most rewatchable than any filmmaker out there and he’s a brilliant of his craft.

I think the scene form Shaun of the dead where Ed and Shaun flip threw the tv channels and it spells out what’s essentially going on threw the different channels being flipped there lol it’s so good.
Great video Austin. He is a fantastic director, and it's amusing how different our lists are. Having not seen A Fistful of Fingers yet, I would rank them: 6. Scott Pilgrim vs. The World (75%) 5. Hot Fuzz (80%) 4. Shaun of the Dead (84%) 3. Last Night in Soho (85%) 2. Baby Driver (88%) 1. The World's End (94%)
Haven't seen Soho yet. 1. Shaun of the Dead 2. Scott Pilgrim 3. Hot Fuzz (Prolly the most underrated film out of all of them) 4. World's End (This one and Baby Driver could interswitch) 5. Baby Driver All great movies!!!
I loved the Buddy break in the middle of this video. So Funny. I love most all of Edgar Wright's movies. Favorite one? Maybe Hot Fuzz or Scott Pilgrim or Baby Driver? I don't know. They are all really fun.
Great video. My list: 1. The World’s End (Simon’s most mature and greatest performance & theres such tragedy and realism to these character. Somehow its also hilarious, very quotable and endlessly rewatchable) - a misunderstood masterpiece imo 2. Shaun of The Dead 3. Scott Pilgrim Vs The World 4. Hot Fuzz 5. Baby Driver LOVE THEM ALL Seeing Last Night in Soho tomorrow
My Ranking Would Be: 1. Scott Pilgrim 2. Hot Fuzz 3. Shaun of the Dead 4. Baby Driver 5. Last Night in Soho 6. World's End They are all great and Hot Fuzz and Shaun of the Dead can switch places at any time.
5. The World’s End (still a great movie) 4. Baby Driver 3. Scott Pilgrim vs The World 2. Shaun of the Dead (1&2 are basically both as awesome, could be changed) 1. Hot Fuzz
Youre not alone. Its my fave. I love every film but this one has Simon’s greatest ever performance and like you said, it means a lot to me too. I have a history with addiction and know a lot of people like Gary King. He’s not the initially most likeable character (and i think thats why some struggle with it) but once you get behind the surface, you can see that Gary is a complex and tragic character but somehow Edgar and Simon still make this character HILARIOUS. Endlessly rewatchable and quotable. The most misunderstood of his films imo and my number one ranked Edgar Wright film.
@@bigandycraik Can’t agree more. I think it carries an emotional weight some of Wright’s other films lack (I still think all of them are great, though). Gary King is such an amazing character and the “To err is human” scene makes me feel proud to be human which is rare.
1. Hot Fuzz 2. Shaun of the Dead 3. The World's End 4. Last Night in Soho 5. Baby Driver 6. Scott Pilgrim vs. The World Tried watching Fistful of Finger but just couldn't get through it
1. Hot Fuzz 2. Shaun of the Dead 3. Sparks Brothers 4. The World's End 5. Last Night in Soho 6. Baby Driver 7. Scott Pilgrim Vs. The World 1-3 I think are great; 4-5 are decent; I have disdain for 6-7.

Shaun of the Dead (Instant classic. Don't love it as much as others do but it's hard not to see how clever, witty, honestly goofy, and completely of-itself this is being the entire time. It has genuine substance and such a combination of pop style and hammy performance that this epitomizes his career. I really don't see the hate for this one. Imperfect for sure, but utterly phenomenal nonetheless)
Hey Austin, I was just wondering which part at the end of last night in soho caught you by surprise I’m really curious about what you thought. Love the videos ❤️
Baby Driver is so good, it gets way too much hate lol I get why people may not like it, but I think what most people don’t like about it are purposeful choices that were made to contain the tone and style, rather than just failed attempts to convey a story, it’s just not for everyone lol I love it though, it’s very unique and very self-aware in a way that makes the simplistic story work very well despite how simple it really is.
Thomasin McKenzie is my Beloved Kiwi 🥝 ♥ I hope he either does a sequel to Soho or casts her and Anya in something else... maybe a female Cornetto trilogy? Adding Syne Karlsson to that list, she was such a perfect biatch I could've hate her. And that soundtrack... I'm still listening to it on RUclips lol.
I’m in the minority but the only one I didn’t like of his is Baby Driver. I found it a bit corny but I’ve only seen it once and may need to try it again.
Hot Fuzz is my least favorite. It's just fine, some funny bits, but man, is it the most overrated comedy of all time. Scott Pilgrim and World's end are top tier for me.
Thanks for watching!!

Last Night in Soho needs multiple watches to really appreciate what’s going on. It goes into “Awesome” for me after the second watch
Honestly The Worlds End is incredibly underrated. When Gary screams “I don’t wanna be sober!” I genuinely feel like crying, I understand him a lot.
The 2nd act of Last Night in Soho is probably my favorite of his.
It’s absolutely terrific.
The 3rd act isn’t bad, but it is t as strong as the first two like you said.
Don't have a favorite Edgar Wright movie, but I do have a favorite scene from an Edgar Wright movie: 'Don't Stop Me Now' from 'Shaun of the Dead'
