finally a cool one of these that makes sence and can actually be raced. Even springered w lighting and mad street legal for future fun. Great job.

Thank you. Thank you for doing that build in your house. I parked my HD Night Train in my bedroom (no kidding) for a couple of weeks during a really bad stretch of winter weather once. I got more shit than you can shake a stick at. My response? "Would you rather I parked it in the living room, or the kitchen? Don't like it? You can sleep on the couch, but the Harley stays."

I like to see dishes in some of the pictures, showing this is not kitchen furniture that ended up in a workshop but an actual kitchen.

    Awesome build..
But.. everybody building this kind of bike needs to step away from resorting to electrical conduit clamps for tank straps already..
    Yeah they work..
But making ur own design tank strap isn't that hard to do either..
Bend some tin n drill 2 holes.. n see how much better it could be

Did you ever figure out what the build cost was ? That bike is bad azz! Did you use a snow mobile belt clutch set up on it ? Did you ever check it out for top speed ? The wife said don't even think about it ! Me in a low voice "will see ! "😏

It's a "Vanguard Series" Small Displacement Horizontal Shaft V-Twin engine built snd sold by Briggs & Stratton via various retailers. And to achieve the impressive vintage appearance in which this talented motorcycle builder features as shown within this video build slideshow above, the builder simply removed the unnecessary protective plastic dust and debris head panel covers to expose the alloy mechanical core structure of the V-Twin engine itself. This particular Vanguard Series of V-Twin engines come in a few different displacements over the years as this video was originally posted some time within the calendar year of 2014. The engine featured here in this video slideshow is most likely close to 500-cc range in size. In all accuracy this particular B&S Vanguard V-Twin is more than likely to be exact 496-cc's in size. Which needless to say is a hell of a lot of high-end power and equal low-end torque for a very lightweight Boardtracker project so long as both the primary and secondary sprockets are matched properly for full and balanced power to the rear tire. The only downside with the B&S Vanguard Engine is it's price for anyone on a tight budget. Tar average retail price for these engines generally retails on average at or above $1000. Northern Tool as an example currently sells the Vanguard for $1099. Here's a direct link to this engine on the Northern Tool website: www.northerntool.com/shop/tools/product_200369815_200369815
Also it is worth noting that several other small engine manufacturers offer very similar engines in both size, displacement and styling. Honda comes immediately to mind. The GX Series of V-Twin engines offered from Honda deliver a little more power at 688-cc and only cost roughly $100 or so more than the B&S Vanguard. And just like the Vanguard V-Twin, the protective red plastic dust and dirt covers are removable enabling the metal parts to be seen to in turn appear more mechanical blending in better with the overall vintage style motorcycle design. www.northerntool.com/shop/tools/product_200431124_200431124
