4:11 Breeding in asa is changed, mutations have a separate column now (tamed points/mutations/spent points) so you can breed mutations even on low level and then pass it on your high level dino
ASA is an amazing game don’t get me wrong but I really hate this trend of releasing unfinished products for the price of a finished product. It is nice to allow people to test it and figure out issues but I’d rather not spend my whole day crashing and being hit through walls.

Also all babies whether you tame or kill the parents will have a chance to either get 0 additional level or can get perfect tame+1 levels, meaning it can be weaker than a parent or stronger than a parent since the parent doesn't have perfect tame+1. A 150 baby can become a lvl 225 baby when claimed in the wild unlike a tamed parent who can only become lvl 224.

Just a note, babies DO get imprint bonus and bonus levels after claiming but atm no one seems to have found out the proper method to guarantee it? like atm it seems random to get the bonus levels on the babies
The low levels is why I didn’t like playing the story maps on ASE. I’m glad console has mods now and there’s one to improve the levels. 150s aren’t everywhere, but it takes far less time to find them.
This video inspired me to beat the island on ASA as I’ve never beaten it before but instead with only megalosaurus as they are weak at day time but strong at night,so far I’ve got a double mutation in melee and health and my megalosaurus are level 400+ and hit hard (at night at least)

Raptors always had a multiplier dmg when headshot even in ASE
By people yes, but not by wild creatures. They did the same amount of damage no matter where they were hit in the body.
