there’s a really deep lore going on based around a cult like and cosmic theme! i suggest you take a look at a thread @loonacapsule on twt made trying to explain the lore!
This movies are about the girls before school (Tag Me) coming from different planets, having different habits, different habilities and when they come together it just fits, like it's meant to be, meant to be Weeekly
After analysing the short videos, I think I have cracked the Weeekly universe (Weeeverse) lore: For some context, *Jihan* lives on Mars and *Jiyoon*, *Soeun* and *Zoa* live on Earth. The Earth dwellers attend the same school, with Jiyoon and Soeun working on a telepathy project. Meanwhile, there also exists a middle world (similar to one in the Loonaverse). This is where *Jaehee* and *Soojin* live. Everyone in the middle world knows and has the power of creating portals and visiting other worlds. But this power is probably unstable, so they cannot use it often. One day, Soojin uses her power, but an unspecified accident occurs causing a warp in time and space. It is enough to scatter most of her memories in various worlds and timelines and impact other people's powers in the middle world, including Jaehee. During the said incident, Jaehee, who was using her portal power for basketball practice, unknowingly sends her basketball into Earth. The basketball ends up in Soeun's room, along with a galaxy ball (a piece of Soojin's memory). Soeun realises portal travelling and the middle world exists when Jaehee comes to Earth to retrieve her basketball. Jaehee herself learns about Soojin's situation after seeing the galaxy ball as well. However, before Jaehee can return to the middle world, Soeun pleads to know more about portal travelling. Jaehee kindly shares about her power with Soeun. Soeun tells Jiyoon and Zoa about the encounter and they become interested as well. Actually, Zoa dreams to visit Mars while Jiyoon dreams to grow plants on another world besides Earth. They ask Soeun if they can visit Mars together, but Soeun tells them only 1 person can enter a portal at any one time and has to pass through the middle world first in order to reach their destination. It is then decided that Zoa will go to Mars, with Jaehee's help, and then livestream her experience to Jiyoon. Zoa needs equipment for the livestreaming though, and thankfully her roommate, *Monday*, is a talented singer, dancer, and photographer. Monday lends her stuff to Zoa but is not aware about portal travelling...for now. Monday records in her diary 'D-Day', which could mean the day when Zoa returns or the day Zoa tells her about the livestream from Mars. With that, Zoa goes through the portals and arrives on Mars, meeting and filming Jihan in the process. What Monday does not realise is that there is a hidden portal (the frame of a moon at 7:32) in her room that leads to the part of the middle world where Soojin currently is. Soojin is still shaken from her memory loss and is trying to recover her lost memories. Still, she keeps a portal open to connect with the outside world, but unlike Jaehee's bright coloured portal, hers is dark and mystical. ~ ~ ~ That's how all the stories link I guess. I'd go as far as saying that the Weeekly MVs (Tag Me, Zig Zag, After School) are in a separate timeline. But maybe the Soojin in the MV timeline might have discovered the Weeverse timeline (After School MV) and the ultimate goal might be to recover Weeeverse Soojin's memories. As for MV timeline Jihan discovering a portal in the Zig Zag MV, it might be a result of that unspecified accident that scattered Weeeverse Soojin's power across different timelines.
*Jihan's Act:*We can see Jihan playing with a plant and saying it's her baby, and we also saw that Jihan was holding a book saying "Surviving in mars". At the end she was holding a bunny flag. *Jiyoon's Act:* In Jiyoon's act we saw her listening to a Can and playing with a button and we also saw Jihan in the old Tv. *Soeun's Act:* In Soeun's Act we can see alot of things from hers. At 2:53 we can see they're books and a galaxy ball. We can also see a Traveler's case and (i forgot what it's called lol) then a basketball appeared out of nowhere. Afterwards we also saw Jihan's baby plant (UwU) and then the lamp starter flickering probably Jiyoon playing with the button and then Soeun talking in a can and which Jiyoon might be on the other line. Soeun then heres a doorbell ring and went over to see who it was. *Zoa's Act:* Zoa's act was that she was getting ready to move out/go out. We can also see her looking at a book which was what Jihan was holding in the first act. She also picked up a baby deer plushie. She also had the same Travelers case (idk what its called again) which was at Soeun's place which might have been Zoa who rang the doorbell on Soeun's door. *Jaehee's Act:* In Jaehee's act she was trying to shoot a ball through the hoop and still.. didn't got it lol (cuuute) so she decided to throw the ball in a Portal Bin which the ball teleported in Soeun's act. *Soojin's Act:* We saw a galaxy ball rolled over to Soojin-unnie and picked it up. Our *Elegant* Soojin was looking at the ball and afterwards she was playing and looking at some crystals. At the end, The ball rolled away, which also appeared in Soeun's act. *Monday's Act:* In monday's act she played some music and dance throughout. The video, we also saw her write/doodle on a book which aldo appeared in Soeun's act. After she was finished dancing she looked at her audience (the plushies) which might be the other members. The bunny was Jihan and the baby deer was Zoa, im not sure about the other three.. - - - And that's all i can put it lol idk i was bored and had alot of time in my hands so i wanted to write it all that down. Hehe. I only wrote the important ones. i thinm Jiyoon was using morse code in order to convey a message to Soeun which is why we see some sort of chart beside the button she's repeatedly pressing at 2:03.
smol theory here but it looks like jihan took over mars or something similar to that since she placed down a bunny (her representative animal) flag & took off her space suit. It seems to reference to the first moon landing & the possibility of life on mars, life on their looks glamorous so zoa tries to travel there with her book guide (surving in mars is the title of it). We know Soeun & Jiyoon are communicating to each other & the title to Jiyoon's story implies she decides to live a simple life on earth, but keeps in touch with soeun who is already on mars & possibly waitng for zoa (2:58 there is a suitcase). We know they have modern technology on Earth but not Mars so all communication is old fashioned (the can strings,morse code & there's also the signal going out on jiyoon's tv when Jihan talks).In jaehee's act im not sure on what planet she's on but i think she accidentally found a way to teleport to mars without having the need to go on a plane like zoa does. Im not sure about monday & soojin tbh but i think since soojin represents the sun she in control of everything & already knows about the portals.This is all i really know,I feel like i just pointed out the obvious stuff
