I like the older red Airobrush from the 2000s but a wesselwerk design turbo brush generally would be the best choice

No beater pads/bars. Yawn. *How* have they *still* not cotttened on to the fact that agitation is the key wit carpets: 30 years after Hoover was still conquering the market, largely on the basis of the "beating" principle alone?? None of the current manufacturers use them .

Yep! Vacuum cleaner are primarily designed for carpets, if they can’t clean carpets properly then it’s quite disappointing
