And also not screw their customers with cheese cams and poor support when their poor reliability makes an appearance. Love this bike. Would never own one till corporate gets their act together.
@@leandroflaherty the LC8 doesn't have that issue. They're plenty reliable. US warranties are garbage across all brands, blame your government, We get 4 years no questions asked here in Europe.
1290 is GOATed. 1390 with shift-cam remains a wildcard, especially with the 790/890 issues and build quality. I’d buy a 1290 SDR iver a 1390 SDR any day of the week.
My thoughts exactly. You can change the suspension settings in the dash without getting tools out and you can choose between semi active and manual. Best of both worlds right?
Reliability of KTMs is 💩 warranty and dealership service sux. My local dealer is arrogant but still has KTM, GAS GAS and HUSKY bikes piled to the ceiling. No Hondas or Suzukis through
I want a long term test of reliability. This kind of review doesn’t give enough information to justify the price. Don’t know about this bike in particular, but some KTMs are made in India. No thanks to that. I want as much from Holland as possible 🤡
@@marcusmobley5411 Not completely. Some KTMs cam shafts fail prematurely to no fault of the owner. Manufacturers defects , poor engineering, cheap labor all contribute to the reliability of a bike, before you even take delivery. Do you think all the failing cam shafts are the fault of the owners abusing their bikes?
Is it enough for me to upgrade from my Gen 2? Maybe... but only if KTM agrees to free software unlocks because I'm not handing over extra money to Pierer Mobility just to unlock the hardware already on the bike. E.g. quickshifter.
I wish the reviewers would stop screaming and yelling in their helmets already, it's so annoying. Yes we all know the bikes are hell of a fun to ride, but listening to you scream in the microphone is not exciting at all. It takes a lot away from pretty good reviews and ruins them a little.
Some of the claims he's making about the bike are just flat-out false. I own a 1390 Super Duke Evo R and my neighbors love it! 😆
They need to stuff this motor into a full faired bike.

Same company. Any drama across the product line is a big nope. They are not treating their customers with respect.

The techno music track is not really needed. Let the engine speak for itself.
I was in Portimao last month. Amazing. ...and hot!
Just a monster machine ❤❤❤
Guys, were having a problem after making the bikes cheaper to make what can we do? Make them cheaper to make...
Hows it compare against the Ducati Streetfighter V2 or V4?
Why didn't you put the electronic suspension in manual mode?

Orange is still ugly. They need MV engineers to make it look good.
Stunner absolutely , but how’s those cheesy cams holding up .
ride it until the cams disintegrate at 6k miles and get back to us with the update.🤣

The care falls to you and how u treat it. Jackal comment honestly. He tests the performance, and you decide if you want to push it and abuse it.

When is the new v4 review coming?
Put it in manual on track.. no argument

I've done 150mph in Texas on a Honda VFR...but that's straight line open road. That bike was 2005. So 169 for a super bike...hmm.
How it gets there is another story lol it’ll do a little faster than that but outright performance is not this bikes point. It’s a ton of fun

Background music also
100% agree.
I hate the yelling.
Just ride it and let us enjoy the video and sound!
Stop complaining so much and just be happy you have a screen to watch the video with you spoiled brat.
