There is a way black people talk and we have aave it’s just part of our culture and it’s not a bad thing. It shouldn’t be an insult to say that. Some black people happen to grow up with a different accent people would call “talking white”. And we would get made fun of for it even by other black people. Another example is if a black person likes rock music, they get made fun of for trying to “act white”. It’s rude and forces us as a community to be placed in a box. We’re all different in our own way and need to be more accepting of each other.

Just saw the movie and it is steamy in some ways. I really felt like they were falling in love.

I’m glad Ariel has locs think about it realistically how would she be able to maintain long flowy perfect red hair. Locs are more realistic to me. Mermaids wouldn’t have hairstylist in their environment, So it’s not too far fetched their hair could loc up.
