This song didn't get any airplay on my radio station until around the late 2000s. Not sure why I didn't hear it before then, and my town isn't behind the times, either.
A performer/song I recently found : Weyes Blood - A Given Thing. Lower register voice, very strong, beautiful. Karen Carpenter like. Hope you don’t mind me sharing, just enjoyed your comment.
One of the greatest songs of all time...I'm 35 and I really got into Live as a teenager in the early 2000's...Their songwriting is top tier.....Superb band..Takes me back.
Sorry for your loss man. My brother in law passed away 2 years ago. He helped spark my interest in small engines. I have been building faster and faster fourwheelers since. Aiming to make state record on fastest fourwheeler. A lot of money but it’s for him. He’d be happy to see where I am because of him and what I’d do to spend one more night in that garage with him talking motors is more than anyone can understand. He wasn’t blood but he was my brother. My sister isn’t the greatest person but she happened to get the best man in the world and made him my brother. Rest in peace D.M I’ll meet you on the other side some day brother and we’re gonna sit back in that garage and have a beer.
So sorry for you loss, you brought me to tears with the pain you Feel. May God heal your Pain. She will always be with you for Eternity.. Be Strong for her.
My husband loved this song. We used to take a yearly vacation on a houseboat with friends. The last vacation, he played this album/song over and over for 7 days. We were ready to steal it from him. He died a sudden and unexpected death at the age of 40. It took me YEARS to listen to it without crying. I no longer cry when I hear it. I now see him with that beer in his hand, in his wakeboard shorts, standing on the roof of that houseboat, living and LOVING his life and all that was surrounding him. Though his life was short, he probably lived more in those 40 years than most people do in a lifetime. And THAT is what immediately comes to mind when I hear this song.......along with a huge smile on my face and with so much gratitude that he was in my life. He was one hell of a good human being and I say that not because I was his wife. I say it because the world lost a very good soul the day he died. As I sit here and listen to it now, it occurs to me how much this song applies to my story. The circle of life....One dies and another is born. I hold on to the fact that when he took his last breath, he knew how very much he was loved. I wish that for everyone. Thank you for allowing me to share this most treasured memory.
This song helped me through mourning the loss of my sister a few years ago. I cried so many tears to this song. I miss her terribly. We are both 90s kids. RIP Jessica 💕 I love you.
I just lost my brother May 21 2024 and yeah I cried so many times and still do and this song reminds me of him so much we were both 90s kids too and it still hurts but I know he is at peace now but I still want him back. So I totally understand that feeling
I realized what bringing life in the world means so much more since this song came out. To read these comments from everyone in awe over the miracle (like the crash of lightening) of birth is so reassuring and comforting.
@@dojocho1894 that's reductive, what if I didn't want a baby or did but I couldn't provide for that baby/child/ young person? I don't make TikTok videos, maybe you shouldn't think of women as a monolith group?
This Band is amazing My older brother Jared Van Horn died on his way back from traveling cross country to see them live in concert in 2001. The band heard about his passing and sent my Mother a Platinum Album of "Distance To Here" and also dedicated the "V" 2001 CD to my brother. This was his favorite song. THANK YOU LIVE
I lost my 25 year old son, Bradley Hunter 10 months ago. I remember playing this song when he was a baby. It brings me back to a time when everything was, as it should be in life.
The 90s may be the greatest decade of introspective music ever. If I had only one decade of music to choose to hear until my demise the 90s gets the nod, and I'm old enough to have enjoyed the 60s, 70s, and 80s.
Music was made in the era of this song that just has no rival before or after. For some reason this particular period elicited some of the greatest music and the most unique music ever made. Not to mention it's extremely listenable
@@nonheinousanus6817 True, but the 60s was heavy on political turmoil - civil rights, Vietnam, political assassinations, college campus upheaval, hair rebellion, etc.
To all those people commenting on here that have lost loved ones!! I shed a tear for every single one of you!! My brother introduced me to this band many years ago. Sadly he is no longer with us but listening to songs like this brings back the raw pain I felt. Have a good cry!! Feel every emotion because we are their memories we carry them with us always.
The emotion behind this song in undeniable. Such rich and raw talent back in the 90s. I would do anything to be back in that place when I first heard this song. Todays music will never touch the 90s decade.
And there were avenues available for their creativity. Such tremendous creativity and emotion delivered to us in the 90s for bands. Now it's so packaged and sterile. Sell-out or disappear.
I choke on tears every single time I indulge in this song. Sometimes I don't even know why. It just pulls on my strings on the inside in a way I can't describe. Thank you for this gift.
I truly believe in prayer darlin'...I will pray for you and please consider doing the same. He hears every prayer said and answers us too. But he'll only give us what we may need at that point in time. We all have a purpose and you are unique and special to God and all that know you. I can even feel your sadness and I've never met you. But I felt the need to reply. I just go with the flow. Life is so much easier when we don't fight it. And believe me...I've fought it for a very long time. I find the older I get, the more wisdom I have and you start to see the precious people and moments together for what they are worth. Priceless. Life is a gift and I don't intend on wasting it on negative people anymore than I already have. I don't know your age but I can assure you that thru ALL your life's experiences...whether good or bad...that someday you'll just "get it". Everything will fall into place..I promise you. God's blessings darlin '..remember that Jesus loves you too. HEY...with him on our side..how can we go wrong?! I take comfort in this..stay in the light, my friend, and know that someone in Connecticut is praying for you. 😊
Too many modern cell phones distracting the creative process these years. It's almost impossible to concentrate / be creative around a person under 35 :D
The 90's was just a great time for music. Just an explosion of talent. So much honesty and emotion in a lot of the music. So many artists did it because they had something they needed to express instead of trying to write a cool song to make a buck. That emotion is the difference between good music and bad music.
A new style of Rock and Roll called Grunge, same presents different wrapper. But I will say the 80's were full "just make a buck bands" but the was the 80's everyone was trying and making bucks. There were many good even great bands in the 80's however, you just had to use your nonsense filter to see them lol
Spot-on. He literally pulls you into his orbit from the sheer gravitational forces times its acceleration with Mass, ( = ) equaling that linear/ Scalar quantity we come to know as weight. The same quantity that curves Space-Time...
@@gmeapetomoon7453 for me, it makes crying, and the pain that led to it, more tolerable. It’s really about three complex Harmonics, in brief integration- aka, Waveform’s. Every stitch of matter visible, or non-visible, has its own unique signature, the aggregate of which constitutes reality itself on the physical plane.
This was my dad's favourite band. He died from cancer two years ago and since then I've avoided listening to them as much as possible, but sometimes I just do it, and I open myself up to all the pain of that loss, because even though he's gone I can somehow feel close to him this way. I miss you so much dad, and I won't ever be able to accept that I have the rest of my life to go without you. I wish I could see you and hug you one more time. I love you always dad.
This wasn't even my dad's favorite band, actually he would never listen to this song but ironically I found it in his phone history as the last song he listened to before he fell into a deep sleep and eventually passed away.
This reminds me of my dad, he used to love this song, he would listen to it on his truck with me when me and him went on fishing trips together, whenever I hear this song it reminds me of the fishing trips I had with him, I later found him with a self influenced gunshot wound to the head due to his Severe depression, his name was Loyd Bailey, fly high dad 🤍 1982-2021
I love the way this song builds. The mix is haunting. This is Rock stripped down to it's core. Live has really captured the emotion of life and death. That's all I have.
+Rob Glen You are right in all aspects Sir Glen. One guitar starts sounds like a phase shifter, 2nd guitar comes in with what souds like a flanger, then the bass comes in with the drums then the guitars go into distortion mode at the same time as a the harmony comes in and crescendo which is a graduate increase of intensity, kicks it to the end. And yeah, the song seems to sound like a mother giving birth and the mother dies and the child lives, circle of life. But that is not what it is about. It is closer to me. They, especially Ed who wrote the song, had a high school friend who was killed by a drunk driver. My love was killed by a drunk driver. The new life that is talked about is because their friend Barbara donated all her organs etc... which would help with new life and save others. It is an intense song because of the feel of it and the increase power it has. This is just my opinion, just a dumb musician myself. Check out some of my songs if you want. Go to my Facebook page, under More/Videos and you can hear my music. Does not compare to Live, but I am not shabby either. ED KOWALCZYK is a deep thinker when it comes to lyrics and meanings. Very nicely said. When the song plays you, as opposed to the other way around, like Cs Fox says, it does take away all the superfluous interference (which is a fancy term for bullshit) that we have come to accept as what a song is supposed to be. I don't hear this song, I feel it. She died, just that quick.
This song gives me goosebumps everytime I listen to it. The 3rd chorus repeat after the breakdown when the guitar hits that high note and the vocal melody goes into a higher pitch. Every single time since I was about 10. I am not kidding. Everytime I hear that part and the tension building up to it, I get gigantic goosebumps and this wave rushes over me. No other song in the world does this for me. There is just something magical here.

At only 38 years old I have been through so much in my young life and sometimes when the pain comes, it comes in waves and can be so heavy. This song hits home. Always loved their music.
That’s a weird feeling especially when you’re in a place where no one has done a crazy thing in their life other than like going to another state for college! I felt that way when 38 rolled in on me and I was so angry my youth felt wasted on fighting for strangers and loosing my friends to the grind. It’s been 10 years now since then and bud I’ll tell you things do get better! I hope you can find that center of life and enjoy your 40’s. Don’t ef off and hide in solitude for many years like I did.

I'm 63 and my life went to hell in 2018. I went through things I never ever imagined could happen to me. I discovered this song while in a homeless shelter as I mourned the loss of my son. In a strange way it healed me. There is a circle of life and for me God has a plan and a reason for everything.
I am sorry for your loss of your son, I lost my brother this year due to violence. I am glad you were able to make some sense of what was happening and I hope you are no longer in a homeless shelter. I listen to this melody of music when I need to make sense of somethings that are happening in my life.
I remember the very spot I was standing when I heard this timeless classic… Songs are milestones in our lives and we live this beautiful journey thru the emotions they imprint inside us. I think we all have those special 5 or 6 songs we will take into the next life..
Just had to say, I randomly thought of this song today, and I remember exactly where I was when I heard this song. I remembered exactly what problems I was going through in life and in what phase. I just love that about good music and how the brain and soul make those connections so quickly What landed me here to re-listen. I love your sentiment of taking a few songs with us into the next life. This world def be one of mine. Peace ✌️
gr8latino i like your subtlety, but JoJo has a point there are thousands of songs while branching even here on RUclips that ive found that do justice, have you tried Alter Bridge???
scott keeping I love Alter Bridge's new album, "Fortress." Such good music. Definitely one of the best albums, or maybe the best album to come out in 2013. Its too bad that kind of rock gets very little to no exposure anymore. The only reason I know about Alter Bridge is because of Eddie Trunk's radio show which is only on Friday nights really late at night. Alter Bridge definitely blew my mind last year when I first heard their music. They might be the best modern rock band out there right now at the moment.
My grandmother just passed away last night. My first child was just born a few months ago. I can't help but make the connection. He now has another guardian angel.
Only if she decides too. It's her choice. You can ask her to be. But she has to acclimate to 5.1 for awhile and find some healing first. Amadeus reincarnates in 1 year.

Live acoustic with no digital editing. Thanks and peace out.
I took it to a different place. For me, it doesn't focus on death to life only, instead it's about change from old to new. When the lightning crashes, a New Beginning starts. I'll replay when a change happens in my life, loudly and usually as a celebration of the change, a reminder of what was and will be, a recharge into the new, better. Many of us wish when we die, a start of a new beginning. We can die from more than our bodies going still. Always a New Beginning, when Lightning Crashes. Make it crash!
My husband and I got to see Live at the Beale Street Music Fest in Memphis several years ago. Storms were forecasted that night, but the rain, thunder and lightning held off until they finished their set. They were actually told that they needed to leave the stage, but they insisted on singing one last song and this was the song. As soon as they began to sing, it started to sprinkle. By the time they reached the chorus, it was pouring down rain and lightning was crashing all around us. Tom Lee Park was quickly emptying out and the other performers had already packed up, but Live was determined to finish the song, and hardly anyone dared to miss it. It was an amazing experience.
My wife died in delivery when my daughter was born. We have 8 mm moives of her during the pregnacy singing to her unborn child and always telling her how much she loved her. When my daughter got old enough, I had the movie put on a DVD and gave it to her. My daughter listens to this song to this almost day eveyr since it was released.
Good grief, I got a real punch in the gut reading that. Thank you for sharing. My best wishes and prayers to you and your daughter. This song always reminds me of my Mum who passed away from cancer when I was younger. It's incredible reading what this song means to so many different people around the world. Take care. 🙏
I can't take 98% of today's music & I like to think I'm open minded. Lyrics are repetitive and unimaginative. It's all about the sound. Sounds can make good music but lyrics is what makes it great!
It's that genuine emotion that really makes a song something special. I still get overwhelmed with empathy when I hear "A Place For My Head" by Linkin Park. When Chester gets to "You try to take the best of me. Go away!", he screams into that mic like the those who hurt him in the past are standing right in front of him. Such an amazing person we lost.
I used to cry just listening to this song without having an emotional attachment to it. I damn near died from sobbing reading the comments while listening to this song and seeing the impact of tragedy and the love this song imparts on peoples lives. This is what music is supposed to be. I don't know you, but I love you
Song for the hard times. Just is so close to my heart. The way he sings, he knows pain, but isn’t hopeless either, strong in every way. Orchestraic honestly.
That song takes me back to the days when I was 15. There was no internet, no satellite channels and life was all about school and good friends. My joy was listening to Casey Qasem or America's top 40 every Friday to record music on tapes. That song was one of them. It brings back the best memories. I was much happier back then.
I first heard this song when I was 15 - I'm 37 now. After all these years, this song still makes me want to simultaneously cry and sing my heart out. It's a masterpiece.
Simply the greatest song of all time and I don't say that lightly. The circle of life and death, the story, the feeling, the way it makes me feel remembering those that were taken too soon, and thinking about my 2 daughters who couldn't live without the space made by those departing. I've been listening to this since I was 13/14 and I'm still listening at 41.
Couldn’t agree more. I try to share this song with my friends but some people really don’t understand the meaning behind which means that they don’t fully appreciate the beauty behind it. Luckily I had my daddy who showed me good music growing up

@@shannonsizer8540 , it's not about abuse. It's about transferation of life. Whilst a baby is born an old woman dies. You could also say the song describes perfectly the circle of life.
It's about the karmic cycle of reincarnation... Which is a biblical concept as well... Don't shoot the messenger... The spirit/soul left the old woman's body, called giving up the ghost, and bc she hadn't fufilled her karma her soul and the spirit ( manifesting as the androgynous angel ) were forced to enter the newborn babies body. This would be like a purgatory scenario. If it inspired that emotion inside of you, I would say your spirit is telling you something more profound than you realize. I cry everytime I listen. It's a blurry memory, but I know I'm paying for past karma. Father is leading His children home in these final hours. Arise from your slumber and follow the spirit home 🙏🏽. I hope to see you there. Safe travels
What happened? That is a more complex question than most realize.. the talent is out there .. however they are not awarded with opportunities anymore.. they don’t fit the narrative.. or push the “message” that the establishment wants.. also, we are currently here mid 2024 in a time of blatant sabotage and suppression, subversion, a willful inversion of all we know.. this establishment wants despair, destabilization, and demoralization.. they want you dead. All throughout the Western world this multi front multi level attack is taking place.. they want Western people, western culture, white European descended people erased, mixed to oblivion, destroyed, they hate us… they want a mixed people, a cultural blob, unrecognizable… with no obvious origins.. this is how badly they hate us.

I am 71 and just found this song!! Where the hell was I when it came out?? I play it daily...love it!!!!!
Don't worry. I'm 46 and every day discover "new bands" 😂
You were busy making a living when this song came out.
Miranda LoL crazy rite LoL 😂
One of the greatest songs of all time...I'm 35 and I really got into Live as a teenager in the early 2000's...Their songwriting is top tier.....Superb band..Takes me back.
This whole era of music was so powerful and will never be matched, ever.

One of my mom’s favorite songs. Passed away in 97’, two days after my 8th birthday. I miss you everyday, every minute, every second, all the time.
Blessing to you heart! She was amazing to love this song. I love it to !
This too is one of my mom’s favorite songs. She died two days before my 35th birthday.
That's sad. I'm sorry for your loss

The 90s may be the greatest decade of introspective music ever. If I had only one decade of music to choose to hear until my demise the 90s gets the nod, and I'm old enough to have enjoyed the 60s, 70s, and 80s.
I agree, and I too would choose the 90's as well. I think however that the 60's was pretty introspective as well.
80s were better but the 90s were a badass second place. In some aspects maybe better
Music was made in the era of this song that just has no rival before or after. For some reason this particular period elicited some of the greatest music and the most unique music ever made. Not to mention it's extremely listenable
70's.
@@nonheinousanus6817 True, but the 60s was heavy on political turmoil - civil rights, Vietnam, political assassinations, college campus upheaval, hair rebellion, etc.

Yeah man, this is what I call 'a timeless classic.' This song will come on the radio when we are 78 years old and we will never forget it.
The emotion behind this song in undeniable. Such rich and raw talent back in the 90s. I would do anything to be back in that place when I first heard this song. Todays music will never touch the 90s decade.
All true!

And there were avenues available for their creativity. Such tremendous creativity and emotion delivered to us in the 90s for bands. Now it's so packaged and sterile. Sell-out or disappear.

Can we all go back 90s, please I miss the life I had. 47 struggling today.
Pray sweety, ask the Lord for guidance 🙏
Here's a hug from a stranger. 🤗
you don’t know me, we’ve all been there, it gets better. Keep fighting and you’ll turn that corner . GL

Not enough mainstream songs have that slow, deep, and meaningful build-up. You gotta earn that rise to crescendo.

Too many modern cell phones distracting the creative process these years.
It's almost impossible to concentrate / be creative around a person under 35 :D
Excellent description of what I have always thought about this song.
The 90's was just a great time for music. Just an explosion of talent. So much honesty and emotion in a lot of the music. So many artists did it because they had something they needed to express instead of trying to write a cool song to make a buck. That emotion is the difference between good music and bad music.
Well said
so true! was much needed.....
yesss jamie! 100% true
A new style of Rock and Roll called Grunge, same presents different wrapper. But I will say the 80's were full "just make a buck bands" but the was the 80's everyone was trying and making bucks. There were many good even great bands in the 80's however, you just had to use your nonsense filter to see them lol
Music=sound=emotion

My grandmother's spirit is with me every time I listen to this song💚
This was my dad's favourite band. He died from cancer two years ago and since then I've avoided listening to them as much as possible, but sometimes I just do it, and I open myself up to all the pain of that loss, because even though he's gone I can somehow feel close to him this way. One of the most haunting songs that you can't not listen to. ❤
Another hauntingly beautiful song is Shakespears Sister - Stay.
I love the way this song builds. The mix is haunting. This is Rock stripped down to it's core. Live has really captured the emotion of life and death. That's all I have.
+Rob Glen ..Amen to that!
Rock On ~Fox
Very nicely said. When the song plays you, as opposed to the other way around, like Cs Fox says, it does take away all the superfluous interference (which is a fancy term for bullshit) that we have come to accept as what a song is supposed to be. I don't hear this song, I feel it. She died, just that quick.
One of the most intense bands ever
Amen
This song gives me goosebumps everytime I listen to it. The 3rd chorus repeat after the breakdown when the guitar hits that high note and the vocal melody goes into a higher pitch. Every single time since I was about 10. I am not kidding. Everytime I hear that part and the tension building up to it, I get gigantic goosebumps and this wave rushes over me. No other song in the world does this for me. There is just something magical here.

Shine down zombies god smack I stand alone

"I can feel it" is one of the greatest lines in rock music: the delivery is brimming with genuine emotion.

I first heard this song when I was 15 - I'm 37 now. After all these years, this song still makes me want to simultaneously cry and sing my heart out. It's a masterpiece.
8/27/84. me too
Same feeling here
Weird! I first heard this song when I was 37. And it still leaves me in awe!
This is the song I almost got divorced to. Thank god I tossed her the ring and walked away.
9/23/84 me too
Simply the greatest song of all time and I don't say that lightly.
Luckily I had my daddy who showed me good music growing up
I will never forgive the US govt under Obama and Biden Father David McEvoy and DeAnn Kreutzer and All of you who watched the butchery of my family, the deaths of Our Eternl Spirits at their hands...my beloved sons mind ---for the Bolsenga's of Leavenworth Kansas Stance and Betty Me and my son Daniel Joseph Hummingbird..and Down's Syndrome.
You ain’t wrong. As evocative as any song ever produced.
WOW! This is the most powerful and beautiful song ever written about motherhood! The video perfectly communicated both the pitfalls and pleasures of motherhood. Kudos, boys!
One of the top 100 songs of all time. Truly underappreciated.
There’s so much emotion in this one song
25 years later and this is still a beautiful and emotional song
This is so powerful even here in April,2022.What a masterpiece.Ive always loved this one.
Chills every time I hear it. Truly a masterpiece
Always gives me all the feels!

Reincarnation!!! 🙏🌻☀️
10 or so years ago a random danish guy put this on and said, its one of the greatest rock songs.he wasnt lying
First time I ever heard this song I was about 6 years old, it was right after my great grandmas funeral in the car on the way home & it was pouring down rain......that memory has always stuck with me, great fucking song.
This comment really got to me... It's crazy how we can associate songs with memories.
+Ben Mawyer I believe that the songs gets a tight grip on the memories of our youth and that's where they will be safely kept until the end of our days. If you think about it, it's the songs of our youth that open the floodgates and the memories pour out. It's an incredible gift music gives us.
+Ben Mawyer Sure is you took the thoughts right from my mouth
My mom loved this song and it came on in the car right after her funeral...fly high MOMMY
How POWERFUL? Too powerful that GEESE BUMPED you?
This songs bring tears to my eyes... I lost my mom and my dad, my best friend died too and I've been living in deep depression for years, I've tried to kill myself many times but music saved me... Music like this... I'm here and if I can do it everybody can... Hang in there...

@@noediaz9636 thank you...
Just saw Live in concert for the first time and they're still killin' it in 2023. Hearing this song live gave me physical chills.
I would love to see this live
AMEN
wow, I did not realise they were still about like that. How awesome
Typical woman taste in music.
I'm seeing them live with our lady peace next weekend
Ayyyyy happy 100 million views!
This song came out 5 years after my infant daughter died. This song tore me up then. Decades later, it has become our anthem. Her way of whispering, that she is still here in Spirit.🙏💝 Thanks for one of the best songs ever.
Sorry
As a donor father, i feel your pain. They say that time heals all wounds, its just that when you lose a child, one lifetime is not enough time. God bless your family.
@@javierluna56 There is not a book written, a class taught, a sermon preached, that could ever prepare a parent to stand at their child's graveside. Though it's been 3 decades, it was yesterday in my heart. God bless you, and your family, Javier. Just know, your Guardian Angel is by your side each day.
💓
Sending you so much love....seriously
An amazing beautiful song by Live. I used to listen to this song all the time. I always admire Live and their music.
I am 72, loved this song since I first heard it. Great is great, no matter how old you are.🎉🍾🎶😃
Yes. I'm 68. Well done. Keep going.
I'm 41 and in no doubt whatsoever that I'll be playing this way into my 70s! I hope you're well. 😊

Me too...
wow. must be nice having a time machine. 2004 was 13 years ago buddy.
born in 1993 I'm guessing?
This song has changed me life. I heard it for the first time as a teenager while sitting next to my dad while he was driving the car. We were both silent throughout the entire song, knowing we just listened to an amazing peace of art! Have been a HUGE fan ever since! Got Ed to sign his autograph on my chest, been to many many many concerts here in The Netherlands!
I used to hear my father play this song quite a lot when I was a kid. Now hearing it again as a 25 year old with a whole new perspective.
This song is so emotional and genius.
The greatest song of all time. From the guitar riff and bass to the drums and then add the beautiful lyrics it is the ultimate.
This song reminds me of my son... RIP sweet baby boy!
Shawnda Mclin
same here...it makes me cry still but im sorry for your loss. BUT we didnt lose our kids..we gained ANGELS.
That's the amazing thing about music. It connects us to those we miss most.
Im sorry
Sorry for your loss. It can be a sad song in a way.
Simply one of the greatest songs of all time… it just reaches so deep inside you, and pulls out your emotions like no other. Absolute masterpiece
Agree! Came here to see if it still makes me goosebump and tear up… it always has.
whats so good about abuse man
@@shannonsizer8540 , it's not about abuse. It's about transferation of life. Whilst a baby is born an old woman dies. You could also say the song describes perfectly the circle of life.
I think ive been too much
🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
My baby died at just over 2 mths old. Every time I hear this, I feel it in every fiber of my being. RIP my angel Dustin 💕
So sorry. Hugs...
@@polkadot123 Thank you so much 😉
I’m so so sorry. 😥.
@@rosemiles-ford3544 🙏
I cant even imagine the hurt you experienced. You'll see your little one again. Sending hugs your way.❤
This song makes me cry. What happened to our music?
LOVE this song soo much ~ goosebumps every single time
yes!!! everytime!
amazing song...song has been in my top 10 playlist for many years

my favorite part is the drums at the end.. that little syncopated off beat thing really makes the song imo.
90s music delved into existential issues like no other decade before or since.
I was too young to grasp the powerfulness of this song in the 90''s, but damn, it's extremely powerful. Probably up there with on the most powerful songs of all time.
Ya, it has aged well. :-)
@@hgdfihdjk a true classic

One of the most powerful emotionally moving Singers of all time.
I had complications with my pregnancy, my son's and my life were touch and go for a hot minute. Today my beautiful son is 15 and we are both healthy. This song has always reminded me how grateful I am to have each other. ❤ being a mother!

I was 5 years old. My sister came home one day and gave me a copy of this cd. Fast forward a very short time and I'm on a stranger's shoulders seeing them perform live with my father and sister right behind me. They were the first band that I actually fell in love with. They launched my love for music. This album is so special to me. Hearing this is certainly a nostalgia trip for me.
