ADAC provides the testing facility for both EuroNCAP which is backed by EU countries and there test protocols are entirely different. On the other hand GNCAP is a fluke organization which is literally a cheap copy of Euro NCAP with completely different set of protocols .They struggle to generate revenue to keep the company running since a long time. Tried there best to get backed by South American governments for a very long time but failed miserably. Came to India backed up by Tata and M&M made a fool out of people like you and made themselves good enough money. If you are still not convinced then just go and compare two test reports from Euro NCAP and Global NCAP. You can see how unprofessional and clueless there reports are with absolute zero integrity. It’s business man. No private organization can run without money. They thought Indian government will back them like EU did for Euro NCAP, but all there plans went for a toss when Nitin Gadkari announced about Bharat NCAP.

Happy new year everyone. Liked the humour as usual. 2WD Thar makes a lot of sense. Could be a far better choice than the existing workhorse, the Bolero. Know a lot of people who still uses the Gypsy for these rugged utilitarian jobs with the 4WD disconnected and even very old MM540s. If the pricing is decent , would personally consider the 2WD Diesel Thar.
