  • 🌎 The content marketing news you need to lead from Content Marketing Institute’s Robert Rose.
As part of a 10% reduction in its workforce, Tesla gave its growth marketing team the boot before the paint on it had time to dry. Adding insult to injury, CEO Elon Musk called them out for their “generic” ads on his social platform, X. Marketing is used to being a scapegoat, but is Musk just throwing shade to keep the spotlight off Tesla’s bigger leadership challenges? Robert Rose says the only lesson brands can learn here is what not to do.
📣So, what do you think? Did Tesla fire its marketing team for falling short of Musk’s ad expectations or for failing to douse the dumpster fires caused by poor decision-making? Let us know in the comments.

I was really excited to hear his perspective but it’s unfortunate this is biased advice. Very negative towards the company.
