I randomly sang this hook for the last 20+ years.. just seeing the video since the first time. Hell at least what i REMEMBERED of how it went, was actually how it went.🤷🏿♂️
Your right there friend! I think his song 'what's love got to do with it' sealed his faith with the industry. I quote, 'like when you run up in a trick, and then you thru, the record labels do the same thing to you. 90 percent business, 10 percent show, ain't no love involved, cause it's all about the dough'. Have a blessed 2025🎉
He was well known and is a og and classic for the people who knew him. He is a big part of true rap and on top. Not his fault that the dumb asses of today don’t get it
Lol, I worked on this video with the legendary RON ISLEY, and met WARREN G, who I admired as a artist. Being a TRIPLE OG, I just traveling down memory lane, of some great experiences and moreso, GOOD PEOPLE who are grounded and treated me well. Enjoy your day!
Interesting! Idk how this popped in my head but it did. And here I am. Sounds better now than back then especially the hook. Isley killed that. I can't help but wonder if the hook was originally intended for Nate Dogg🤔🤔🤔🤔
This classic beat sounds so perfect when cruising around the neighborhood in my car. This is comfort music. Laid back articulate delivery by Warren G and the one of the best hooks ever. Ron Isley’s voice is otherworldly good. Nice to see him lookin so distinguished and dapper in the video too. I heard this song back in 1997, but the sound and overall feel of the track seem to get better every time i hear it.
This was one of best sounding, just pure musical hip-hop albums of all times. I can even slip it in the rotation with my aunts and uncles' music, which is mostly 60s and 70s. Just a really great sounding album if you want to hear hip-hop with a funky, organic sound behind it.
Rest in Peace Nate D ....... you were my University Days .....just walking to school with my coffee ....and a blunt hahaha getting ready for Lectures shit brother. Fucked up to hear this news.
Warren G wasn't playing around with them G-funk beats back in the 1990s. Layer his smooth vocals over a G-Funk bass heavy beat and there you have it, the Warren G-style in the 1994 to 1999 period. Good times.
Ron Isley Singing Hook 🎵 On This Track… Great Call By Warren G On This! “She Is Smokin’ Me Out….Me Ouuuut. Smokin’ Meeee Out…Smokin’ Me Out, Ooooh She’s Smokin’ Me Out Wit’ The Homies Liiiight. Dope AF!! Listening To Silk Sonic’s “Smokin’ Out The Window” Made Me Think Back and Had To Listen To This $#!* From Back In The Day!! That’s What’s Up!!
I remember buying this album people thought it was a disappointment because it wasn't as good as regulate the G-funk era but I still supported Warren G. I even bought 1999 I Want All album and that was even more critically panned
I had only seen ice cube in concert a week before i saw Snoop Dogg. Snoop also had Lady of Rage, RBX and tha Dogg Pound along with Warren G. Ice cube was my first concert, and then in October i had tickets for Xzibit but he cancelled his manchester show. I am going to see Jay Z and Kanye West in June. I cant believe its been just over a year since Nate died
Thank you so much Mr Warren G I've been looking for this song for nearly 2 years so so glad I've found it YES CLASSIC I love love ❤ 😍 💖 this tune with the lush Warren actually feel emotional wish music was like this today
they don't make music like this no more dam dam og sickness west coast criping alive yep thinks for give me game and real hip hop oid school under ground underrated warren G
So would i....i went to see Snoop Dogg in July and Warren G was there. I was waiting for him for over 2 hours and he came on half way through Snoops show. He did Regulate and some of the songs with Snoop, but Regulate didnt sound the same without Nates smooth voice, It was still great to see him perform live, i even started crying when he came out (sad i know lol)
⭐The B.E.S.T. Warren G song for me! 🔥))) 🎸Tender G-Funk makes me feel so good! 🎶The real pleasure for listening..!
I randomly sang this hook for the last 20+ years.. just seeing the video since the first time. Hell at least what i REMEMBERED of how it went, was actually how it went.🤷🏿♂️
This used to be my jam. I'm still rocking this jawn in 2024!
This will always bump 🎵🎶🎵
Damn! Warren G doesn't get the recognition he deserves, produced his own records, produced for other and pen game on point 👌
Your right there friend! I think his song 'what's love got to do with it' sealed his faith with the industry. Warren G is the most underrated Hip-Hop Artist of all time!
Maybe, but he still made one of hip-hop biggest songs ever
@@kanyegang2810 that’s one of the reasons I consider him so underrated. Regulate is one of the most classic sounds of the 90s.
Classic G Funk track!🔥💯
He wasn't underrated at all. He was on his prime time in the 90s. He was well known. That's not underrated.
He was well known and is a og and classic for the people who knew him. He is a big part of true rap and on top. Not his fault that the dumb asses of today don’t get it
Warren G slaughtered the 90s... And early 2000s but you're not ready to admit that.

Hi
the Isley brother part makes the track, never gets old.
Interesting! Idk how this popped in my head but it did. And here I am. Sounds better now than back then especially the hook. Isley killed that. I can't help but wonder if the hook was originally intended for Nate Dogg🤔🤔🤔🤔
