Hey Buckeye Creeker. Longtime Nightwish Army Phoenix subscriber back here for you. I absolutely love your Nightwish reactions. And this entire Wembley 2015 concert is fantastic. There is no better version of this song than this Wembley version... and I include the music video. This is THE ONE. So hauntingly beautiful from Marko (and his unnamed female backup vocalist) and from Troy using the ebow, making his guitar gently weep. Fantastic and thank you, buddy.

The e-bow Troy is playing the guitar with is amazingly easy to use but difficult to use well. Troy is truly a master of all his instruments.

Nightwish is the only band, which made me cry and I'm still feeling happiness and positive vibe from their music. 'First day of love never comes back, a passionate hour's never a wasted one' gets me every time. I don't know if anyone has mentioned already that this was written for a Finnish film called Lieksa. There is video for this song with snippets from the film. Troy using that EBow adds to the song. It originally didn't have that. Another great reaction my Buckeye brother 😊

Indeed! And Buckeye, if you haven't done Meadows of Heaven yet it is one of the very best Anette songs IMO.
If you have 2 wheels, one with moods, the other with music genres, you spin and get 2 results. Nightwish has the best suited song for any combination.

Life puts so much pressure on us on a daily basis that we more often than not become overwhelmed. Anger, fear, anxiety take over and unfortunately, we lose perspective ( its a natural human response) Love should never be a burden either to give or to receive l strongly believe. Treasure those we love now before its too late.

Hey Creeker. Nice reaction! This is the best version, with Floor’s amazing backing vocals, and Troy on guitar with eBow. His wasn’t originally a Nightwish song, but something Tuomas was commissioned to do for a Finnish film, that he collaborated with Marco on. Jukka, the previous drummer did play drums on it too. Anette, nor any of the ladies sang on it originally. Emppu did not appear on the original nor in this performance. Keep exploring Nightwish.
