Very nice! Is there a mini version of this for someone like me who just wants to make soy meal or roasted soy beans along with my cracked corn to to feed about 4 Pigs?
Well I just googled roasters for soybeans and there is out there I don’t know how well they work as long as you can get them up to temp I don’t see why they wouldn’t work
They need to be at least 250 degrees to 260 so in my roadster it only takes a min but there in no set time it’s all about the temp of the bean what are you using for a roaster of it’s not hot enough I slow it down and if it to hot we speed it up
It doesn’t matter how long they cook Just make sure the grain temp is to the 250 to 260 mark and you should see a spit of they are not cooked enough you should taste a raw bean taste but if they get over the 260 mark they will be over done and that isn’t good it’s a fine line what are you feeding
Very nice. Did you build the roaster
No got it brand new in like the 80s ish I think
Awesome intro

@@CanadianFarmer Thanks!
Have some hens free range there when you’ve finished filling the silo, to eat the overspray soybeans on the ground
Why not put metal grating over the auger for safety? Should allow beans to pass through easily.
