I have all three cameras: the Leica Minilux is fun to use and the lens is famously sharp. The CONTAX G1 is also fun to use and the 45mm is one of the best lens ever manufactured for 35mm (often adapted it to other cameras), the mju II is surprisingly sharp for being a "cheapy" camera. I agree with everything you mentioned about the cameras. Reddot fixes the Minilux. If you are looking for beginner, easy & *premium* point and shoots--this list isn't too bad at all. Are there cheaper alternatives, yeah--but that's not what this video is about. This is HER recommendations. and if you can't afford these cameras, just say so. Jesus Christ. Everyone is a RUclips critic for no reason. Out of all these, the G1 would be my recommendation. Great video!
The e02 is due to flex cable that controls the shutter and diafragm bren sectioned, it can be easily repair, but it will cost you 150 usd, i did repaired almost 32 Minilux Leica by now, so trust me, go and fix it.
Sorry to say that but all this cameras are overhyped and overpriced, not a good choice for a beginner... many cheaper and available alternatives on the market
@@anonymousreality6canon film cameras have the infamous shutter cough and almost all are lacking critical viewfinder info. The Nikon FM is a far better beginner camera.
I only use film camera, I avoid electronic camera not because no service anymore but I want full manual control, for full manual camera only would be mechanical camera, they operate without battery and most can be serviced easily, there are plenty of full manual camera can be compact, SLR, rangefinder
