Kohima village students’ union Night schools celebrated Teacher’s Day at KVC Hall

  • A Heartfelt Celebration of KVSU Night Schools Teacher's Day
    On September 5, 2024, The KVSU Night Schools came together to celebrate the second edition of Teacher's Day, themed "Empowering Education for a Sustainable Future".
    KVSU Games & Sports Secretary, Khrieketouzo Khezhie led the program with warmth and enthusiasm.
    The programme began with a soulful invocation by Mr. Ruokuovituo Robert Rutsa, Catechist, Christ King Church, followed by a mesmerising special song performance by Kethonuo Sekhose, Best Soloist 30th Spero Meliora 2024.
    Dr. Keduolhoulie Belho, Associate Professor, Kohima College delivered a powerful exhortation, emphasising the transformative impact of empowering education.
    KVSU honoured their dedicated teachers with *Best Teacher Awards*, recognising their tireless efforts:
    - Kethozetuo Sachü (DSU)
    - Ketoulenuo Keyho (PSU)
    - Kevisenuo Belho (TSU)
    - Thejakhrietuo Sorhie (LSU)
    KVSU also acknowledged the Units that provide honorarium to teachers and expressed gratitude to over 120 Executives who volunteer their time to educate the tuitioners.
    Students presented heartfelt performances to their teachers, making the occasion even more special.
    The light refreshments were generously sponsored by Dr. Keduolhoulie Belho. Dziesebeinuo Kire, Joint Secretary, delivered a heartfelt vote of thanks.
