It's been one long wet session - not much better last year either. I'm growing mud. Everyone - even those in the little town - is fed up and I think the ducks are beginning to agree too. The bantams are still in the barn - they'd be blown to Kent if they didn't learn to swim first! Made a start with peppers and the spuds are chitting. Nowhere in the veg patch for them - it is so waterlogged! Never gets a chance to drain and we are fast draining here! Loving your Kerry Hills. And I love the game of I fetch and then you fetch! Such a sweetie pupster!
I really need to work on my fetch 😂! Now, those sheep are meant to be Valais/mule crosses ( mule = blue-faced Leicester x Welsh white or badger faced) but you’re right, they do look like Kerry Hills!
Hello Saronne! Very wet here too. Flooding on the Watermead. Anyway, last weekend we started on the tiny green roof for our wood store. Sun forecast for Saturday so will finish then I hope. Fun project before real work starts...
We did some alternate fencing last weekend to keep our hens off the front lawn. In doing this we moved the fence so that I again have easy access to a small older tunnel. The plastic on the tunnel needs repaired. Soon....
Good luck with your repairs. I watched Bruce on Red Gardens and he was demonstrating how he ‘patched’ up his huge polytunnel. It was a very timely episode…
I'll be doing a lot of seed starting and potting up, as it's meant to be raining steadily for the next 5 days here, so planting out is on hold until we get a few dry days in a row
Oh! We used to get through several wheelbarrow tyres each season. In the end we gave up and bought a barrow with solid tyres. It’s a real game changer! ( don’t remind me about sorting out sheds..!!)

Well they are really cute pandas whatever they are made from! I don't think you'll win at fetch though!😂

Sounds a good plan. We literally had a day and a half of no rain this week, and the forecast is for more rain over the weekend 😢
@@sowgrowandcook I'm in Northern California, so we're very grateful for the rain as a rule, but it's been rather a lot the last month or so XD
putting a new tyre on the wheelbarrow! its flat as a pancake, again. need to sort out the shed too....
