What to do in Plovdiv in summer?

Hello guys! Today I want to tell you about what you can do in the summer in Plovdiv. Plovdiv is a popular tourist destination, especially during the holidays when many tourists visit the city.
Let's start with the main attraction of Plovdiv - the Old Town. It can get very hot in Plovdiv during the summer, so it is recommended to visit the Old Town early in the morning or late in the evening to avoid extreme heat. The climb up the hills where the Old Town is located can be quite steep, so comfortable shoes with thick soles will come in very handy. Don't forget to bring water, a hat and mosquito spray in the evening.
There are also several interesting museums in Plovdiv, the opening hours of which can be found on the Internet. They usually close at 5-5:30 pm.
If you like shopping, there are three shopping centers in Plovdiv - Plovdiv Plaza, Mall Plovdiv and Markovo Tepe. In Plovdiv Plaza you will find many shops, cafes and restaurants, while in Mole Plovdiv you can spend a whole day exploring the shops. Markovo Tepe also offers shops, a food court and a cinema.
Don't miss the shops on Plovdiv's main street where you can find quality goods at good prices. It is also worth visiting the fabulous candy store, even if you don't have children - this is a real magical world of childhood.
There are many things to do in Plovdiv. You can walk along the main street of the city, visit the park and watch the singing fountain show that takes place on certain days of the week. There are also two water parks in the city where you can have a great time. If you want to swim in the pool, many hotels offer swimming pool services for a fee.
Festivals are often held in Plovdiv, which take place on the main street, at the Rowing Base and on the Young Hill in the park. Here you can enjoy concerts and various performances.
If you love jazz music, then you should look into the bars on Kapan Street, where you can meet talented musicians and enjoy the atmosphere of this place.
If you are traveling with children, I recommend visiting the Frigopan horse base in the village of Tsaratsovo, just 2 kilometers from the city. There you can enjoy horseback riding and relax in the complex's hotel and restaurant.
Don't forget that only 20 minutes from Plovdiv are the Rhodope Mountains, which offer wonderful trails for hiking and nature walks.
If you are looking for a place to stay, Plovdiv has a variety of hotels to suit all tastes. If you can't find a suitable hotel in the city, you can consider options in nearby cities such as Asenovgrad, Markovo and Belaschitsa.

Позволю себе пару советов - хорошо бы упомянуть что Пловдив самый старый город в Европе, и был в 2019 году европейской столицей культуры! Можно было немного старый город показать, хотя бы пару улиц и домов, Этнографский музей, Гребната База, Главную улицу с римской ареной, мозаики.. А так - супер 👏
