I helped care for my elderly parents. Our system is very, very broken when it comes to our elderly. It costs an absolute FORTUNE to care for the elderly. It’s incredibly sad. I’m grateful that I was there to help and protect them.

Noticed he talked about short term solution on housing projects are being exempt from CEQA but not a long term solution of rewriting CEQA. California government is still not interested in changing policy’s to make development easier.

Suggesting for seniors living together. No thanks. Seniors have a hard time taking care of themselves. Having a roommate means dealing with another person's problems on top of your own. Then, if they stop paying, what income or legal recourse do they have to come up with to evict? If they are both on the lease, then being evicted by the apartment becoming homeless again. Not worth the headache.

Congress tried to give themselves a 40% raise while giving retirees a SSA 2.3% COLA increase along with a mandatory Medicare increase for monthly premiums B costs. Food costs have increased varying 38% to 50%. That means Seniors will have to buy less food to make ends meet on their fixed incomes.

Great. You are doing a much needed task for all consumers who's voice are not heard and are completely ignored. We all want this to be done in a respectful manner but the lawmakers especially here in CA do not respect consumers and have absolutely destroyed people's lives along with businesses and have even forced oil companies to shut down and move out of state! They must be made to realize that and be held accountable which we all know will never happen.
This state has so much resources that there is no reason why it is dead last in many categories regardless what benchmarks are used for measurement. This is all at the hands of Democrats. Their green agenda needs to be eliminated. The battery car mandate by 2035 is killing this state and the fuel taxes will rise beginning in 2025!!! These people are playing with people's lives and they fundamentally do not care ! ! !

I say thank God for Cali Insider. "Siya" will never get another interview if he tries a Jerry Springer approach. If our leaders cannot hit softballs out the park and the majority of them cannot. All they need to do is show us they are the kind of leaders who will speak truth to power and error on the side of ethics. I think Mr. Jackson is not from the straight community and I wish there was a law against coverts pretending to be straight men and women, Sean Combs showed us who dangerous that could be.
