Especially the Ceviche sushi roll, being that Ceviche is Japanese influenced. And not to mention Ceviche is Audrey's favorite Peruvian dish.. LOVE IT, LOVE IT...

It's interesting to see how cultures blend. To have a Japanese buffet in Peru with it's own Peruvian flavors is amazing! It's like American sushi being totally different than Japanese sushi. This sushi looks so good! Great video, as always!
Peru has a lot of close ties to japan since many came over to peru in the late 1800's. The failed Peruvian president Alberto Fujimori was of japanese decent.
Born and raised in Lima but living in Boston now. I will be going to the mother land and I will be definitely trying to visit all of these places that you guys have been to! So many places to go.. so little time lol

Congratulations for another great video. When traveling around the world I never forget to ask the locals because they would know all the right places to eat and this is exactly what you are doing. In my last visit to Peru I happened to visit the same restaurant and the food was literally ‘out of this world’. For another video I would recommend you guys to try “El Rocoto” which is food from Arequipa, a whole new chapter in Peruvian food. Enjoy tour stay in Peru.
Oceanika is not that good for the nikkei experience, you should try Osaka its a bit expensive, but totally worth for the experience! Love your videos 💜
Yuka T Of course, I love Japanese Rolls, however this is a mixture of Japanese and Peruvian ingredients. The Peruvian descendants from Japanese are a very big community in Perú and they are known as Nikkei’s

Suushiii!! If you guys wanna try some amazing sea food, and not quite expensive, Barra Lima is a great place to go. That place and Tzuru, a nikkei restaurant in San Isidro, are my favourites in Lima, so, it'd be awesome if you gave any a visit.

Didn't know you guys were back in Lima! Great news! :) it's been quite a while, I still remember the M&G in the lighthouse park as it was yesterday :) oh and yeah, I too strongly suggest you to try Edo Sushi bar. It's waay better than All You Can Eat sushi restaurants (a little more expensive though) but still more affordable than fancy nikkei rests like Maido or Osaka. I'm sure you'll love it!

That's a REALLY REALLY good question. To be honest Chinese and Japanese fusion food is huge in Lima so I'm a bit surprised we haven't found more Korean spots.
Ive never tried sushi before but if you like fish and seafood you will love seafood and fish here in new zealand and they are love it as its a island and they really like sushi here.
Unless you have been to Peru and tasted the food you don't know how good the fusion is. There is a reason why the top chefs in the world vote Peruvian chefs and restaurants high up the list of the top chefs in the world. I'm all for tradition but there's a place for fusion too. No reason not to have it all!
My complaint of your beer choice: Budweiser. Seriously. One of the most blandest beers created by mankind. I am sure there were better Peruvian beers you could have ordered. Otherwise, love your video.
