I'm half viet n I love vietnamese food . I been craving banh mi everyday , I love lots of patte on my banh mi too. Wish they would put more of that in it . All the foods in this vid looks super delish 🤩 I want a fresh coconut drink now....super refreshing .Awesome collab ya 💖👍

Yes agree with john the bahn mi is insanely jam packed there lol - in aus they are semi filled maximum, nothing to overly craze..

I LOVE THE BAHN HOI chao tom - the sugarcane really gives it a nice aroma and a little bit of sweetness its so good! one of our top fav def hitting the right spots there alyssa.

That Viet coffee looks so creamy, and we heard that their coffee is very strong and will definitely wake you up in the day!! We have never had those shrimp pancakes before, but it looks so good in the lettuce wrap, dipped in fish sauce! YUM!!! The shrimp paste on the sugar cane looks so interesting as well. We will have to try these different dishes we have never seen before!! Great video and lots of love to you and we hope you and your family are all staying safe and locked in!!

Noticed some really interesting options for the banh mi at Dragon Eats like duck meatballs! Reminds us a bit of this spot JoJu in NYC that does what they call “Modern Vietnamese Sandwiches” - really good!
Oooo I will have to check that place out on my next NYC trip, whenever that is! Also I should go back to DragonEats to try those duck meatballs hehe

Hey Aly!! Great to see you and your friends John and Malie going on this Vietnamese food tour in SF!! We LOVE Viet food, it's Bears favorite out of all the Asian cuisines!! So many fresh veggies and ingredients.. Really make the flavors pop!! We normally eat Pho and Bahn Mi when we go out, but never tried Bun Rieu!!! That looks so delicious with the crab paste in it.. We wonder if you can get it with chicken instead of ham??
Ah you guys should definitely try some other Vietnamese dishes, it's soooo good!! I'm not sure if you can get chicken instead of ham, but if you don't want the ham I'm sure you can ask them to leave it out!

It is hard to find good vietnamese food in SF! Was hoping to see some spring rolls and other hole in the wall joints but ill have to try the banh mi place! Love me a good banh mi!!
Haha we didn't get a chance to go to all the places that we had planned, for some reason that day 2-3 of the restaurants I had planned to stop by were closed 😭 But I definitely recommend all the restaurants that we did feature! They were super yummy 😋

That's what I get all the time! Pho dac biet!!! Sometimes I tell the waiter..no tripe and exchange for meatballs..hhaha that's a big bowl of pho!!

Shallots and scallions are completely different onions. In the UK scallions are called spring onions that are used in salads, and shallots are small onions that are sometimes used in pickling. Yes too it's Her.....bs not erbs. Their is an h in front.

I think SF is a bit disappointing for Vietnamese food considering it's the most cosmopolitan and famous city in the Bay Area. However if you want the BEST northern style pho go to Turtle Tower!
