Going solo crewmen is just how i play the game these days because its really hard to get barely competent teammates that wont just get you killed at every opportunity. If im not going solo then i usually just cut off whole sections of a map by camping at ATGM engineer. Dustbowl is Heaven for infantry and engineers.
Welp, you can use tanks or IFVs that like need less players to operate. Try to move slowly through and don't rush.
although i like to go multicrew for crewman i solo as engi since its a really powerful class by itself
I run solo crew now cause I don't like being taken advantage of. People only want to be gunners on tanks or vehicles and won't take turns driving in most cases. I love it when the bug that gives the driver control of the gunner stuff happens
That's why ifv's are op. Especially the bmp-2M 4 atgm's for hard tanks, a fast rpm gun and decent mobility

to make your life easier, most of modern vehicles have thermal sights, and you can activate them by presing K/L
I prefer to do 3rd person scouting while being inside the tank, gives me advantage to take out other vehicles. But when engaging at longer ranges, yes Thermal do make our lives easier

pro tips: if tanks barrel is broken just tap in different certain parts of the tank while ur inside to make it less riskier to get ur self killed while desperatly trying to repair ur tank in mid battle
(pls note to calm down when ur in a heavy tank while dealing with an autocannoned tank,if it has atgms then start panicing)

Instead of Metalplates i mostly put ERA on it to be Protected by HEAT and some Rockets (Like RPG and TOW)

Always use AP rounds and not HE because ap can peirce more mm's than HE and HE is made for anti infantry, hope that helped

when should you use APFSDS rather than HEAT or HE?
Use APFSDS to take out Vehicles like IFV, AFVs and MBT as that ammo has good pen.
Use HEAT/HE to take out Light Vehicles such as Trucks, Artys, and the infamous Toyota

How did you install the additional armor?
In the tertiary weapons under Crewman class. There is a lot of diffrent type of armor such as metal sheets, wood planck, etc.

how do you repair in the tank? you cant it's showing you can do that in tank
some repairs (like barrel, Engine, Tracks, etc) are needed to be done by exiting your tank as they are considered "Outside Repairs"
Get your tank to a safe distance if possible or neutralize the threat, then conduct your repairs.

@@YT_Goodwill2804 yeah except tanks aren't far away anymore because all the large maps are covered in trees which force people to get closer in order to see which leads to infantry.
This man is deffo an infantry main that couldnt kill a tank
could just deal with infantry with a single shot from HEATFS/HE (and prob the rarely used HESH round in mtc4). Because the blast radius could prolly easily kill infantry.
honestly i only go solocrew because there are so many idiots in the game that i cant tell the difference between someone ill get 50 kills with or some idiot ill die from
too many idiots who dont know how to play to actually get a crew. there are the guys ill get like 30 kills with, and then the idiots who dont know how to play.
Happened with me once. I tried to team up with a random (I was on Driver and he was on Gunner). I was continuously pinging him to where to look at but he was like 'I don't know what ya taking about'. I even mentioned it in chat that wherever i ping a location, you do have to aim at that direction but he was like 'i dunno what to do' and then, the rest is history. :/

Simple, Got to the red wardrobe ya seen when ya spawn, a tab will appear, on the top left there is a tab called crewman, click on it and viola ya can choose to be either infantry or engi
