That's pretty cool to sing the any song, and hits every note / lyric, and is great with what he has. I grew up loving music. I also have many family members who played instruments. I guess that they all lost interest and the love that they once was happy to do. Anyway keep doing what you love, and joy. Great job.
Its not whether you can copy the original voice of the singer, its whether you can bring out the spirit of the song just like the one from the original singer.. in that aspect you really are doing great ...
Ik you're quite older and don't quite wanna hear a teenager bein emotional and crap, but my dad past away last year in April, I'm 18, it's Christmas and pretty difficult without him here, he raised me on 80s music almost exclusively, he loved journey, this song reminds me of him, he'd absolutely love your voice I think, and I do, awesome cover sir!

Great song sung well, I don't know what pitch shifting is, but when I sing this I capo up 4 tones, doesn't sound quite the same, but at least I can reach it vocally!
