I initially picked up my BMW M140i Shadow Motech edition at midnight on the 28th Feb, unfortunately I was working and the weather was awful, two weeks later and I finally got the chance to pick up my new car!

Have to admit u were one of the reasons I made an order for another M140 as my daily. Going to pick up in few weeks time.
Funny thing is having few “on paper” much better and more expensive cars in garage I still want to drive M140 for some reason.
I have no idea what is it about this car that makes is so unique.
It makes u smile all the time u drive.

Nice enjoy the break in period (or maybe not as the case might be). I forgot about it after 750 miles in my new TT-RS :)
Haha break in period is a myth in my opinion, just make sure the engine and running gear are warm each and every drive ;-)

Hi Joe. Loving the videos as usual. I myself have an M140 and you have kindly commented on my "update video" a while back. My channel appears to becoming more of a "finance" related channel discussing PCP agreements etc., and people are saying that they are finding it interesting. If anyone ever asks you about financing vehicles, perhaps could point them in my direction as I'm enjoying helping people in getting the best deal!. Thanks again. JD

Loving your videos. Got my m140i on order but BMW being crap about it. They’re holding it at Southampton docks for further quality control after “adverse weather” apparently sand blew over cars waiting to be shipped. They haven’t given me a date for delivery yet.

Really good video, keep up the great work, also I have an M2 and remember your excellent drives in that too I would say now and when you did the compare between the M2 and the 140i that it is a might close call in terms of all the dynamics..

So with your preferred configurator options and the Motech etc. Additions, how much would it cost above the standard spec car ,for the "Normal Punter" without contacts /relationships that you are luck to have?
So what is the real additional bang for your buck,how would you measure that ,if it is possible?

I do find it bizzare that the xdrive isn't available in the UK though (would have killed the RS3 market). I've always been a VW/Audi guy with kids but they've grown up now and looking at BMW more and more #midlifecrisis... Please do make that Ricky video (LLF) asap.
