What a privilege to watch and learn from people like Erik Paulson's -- People with this level of understanding and skills truly is a blessing. Very grateful for their generosity that they share some of their incredible knowledge. Kudos and respect

Guy is an encyclopedia of MMA. If you get a chance to train at a CSW affiliated school, I'd highly recommend it. The knowledge base is incredible. Chess on steroids doesn't do what he does justice. This guy has forgot more submissions than most active grapplers know, lol

Yea I don't think their is anyone out there that wouldn't say Paulson isn't respected.

4:55 Mental Note: NEVER throw a mid round house at Erik Paulson. Unless you want death by ankle lock. That scream says all we need to know. He actually yelled "Oh God!". Real Life. Great Vid and thank you Mr. Paulson for sharing with us.

I thought that Paulson was just a catch wrestler, but I just looked up his bio, and OMG!! This guy has done like every Martial Art known to man!!! What a beast!!!

@BJJOPENS No figure four toeholds or kneebars for white belts in BJJ competiton. All armlocks are allowed though, except wrist locks.

I like catch wrestling better than bjj for this reason. Catch is always about capitalizing off opportunities whenever they arise.. bjj is more about position, isolation, submission, and it just doesn't always work that way in the real world.

every situation requires a different strategy , so if you see the option to finish the fight ``even in a street fight´´ evaluate the consecuences ...well right, im agree in that but take the risk sometimes is the best

ovo nisamja Yep, i'd be asking to sleep on the mats and pay rent. The knowledge base you'd soak up training there would be crazy! Take advantage of it, and don't think about it. Turn off your phone and show up to class!
