Dude...wtf. I''m a huge fan of Gag Concert but it's 2014. Have they still not learned that they shouldn't be doing blackface? This is not the first time! I've seen them do it in the past and hope they would stop but every once in a while this shit comes up on Gag Concert. I'm thinking about not watching it anymore. As a Korean-American who experienced racism and one who learned about racism that my fellow African-American brothers and sisters had to endure, seeing this racist shit exported overseas pisses me off.

Okay you know what guys? Let me tell you the reason blackface is so bad. When koreans make themselves as pale as possible, put in blue contacts and try to opt for a more "western look" it's because they're making themselves more "pretty" or "handsome". But when it's blackface, it's always for a comedic purpose. Why is being black considered funny whereas being white is a sign of purity and being beautiful? Do you understand? Fair enough it's ignorance and not racism but this has been done so many times and there's always a backlash. It's like they don't learn their lesson and that's why it's so offensive. So people saying it's just "comedy" and it's "funny", why is being dark a funny thing and being light a good thing? Please stop being so insensitive and know that there's years of history behind this. It cannot just be dismissed. I'm not scolding anyone. Maybe Koreans are being ignorant, but in this day and age, they're more than welcome to educate themselves on the subject. It's not that hard. They have the technology and intelligence to do so.
