@@bartwilliams381 Thank you Bart! It’s anew thing I am totally into now! I wish I could have started this process earlier in my collect career! So you collect vintage?
Thank you Jim! I’m glad I started picking them up, I wish I would not have waited until this year to start , but it’s all good! Have a happy new year Jim!
lol, me too! I just started looking for and picking up vintage this past year. I try to get a HOF on each trip now! I was kinda shocked to see what’s in that box now! I just thumbed through this past weekend! Thanks for watching!
Very cool to see your vintage collection grow in 2023, Jason! That is my goal this year, to pick up more vintage. What’s funny is the 69 Bench is at the top of my list. I have a video I want to do on it so it was really nice to see that as your #1. Fun video and love hearing your excitement about having these great cards. Thank you for making a video response, I appreciate it very much!
Thanks Hugo! I didn’t really know it was my favorite but when I had to pick my favorite.. boom!lol thanks again for tue VR contest! I hope to keep adding vintage this year as well! Happy new year!!
I love watching this video. Hearing your unbelief and excitement was awesome and so familiar of what I went through over 20 years ago when I got my first vintage cards. I just couldn’t. Eli eve I actually owned a card of some of these guys like Fisk, Seaver or Palmer. That switched into Musial, Mays and Aaron and thought my collecting life was complete when I got my first 50’s Mantle. Congratulations and keep going.
Thank you Drew! It’s amazing to see it grow in just 1 year!🤯🤯 It’s so cool it’s hard to explain until you get one!! Thanks for watching and leaving the great comment! And again thanks for thebDodger team card too!!
You have done well in picking up vintage this year. Good to see you come over to the vintage/dark side. lol 1956 Topps is one of their finest designs. I would say you did great on many of your prices. So many great cards you showed. Any vintage collector would love to have those cards in their collection. Bench is an excellent choice for your favorite.
Thank you Drew! I didn’t know the Bench was my favorite until I started stacking the in an order! Thanks man, 🧍♂️ wish I would have started sooner now!😁
That Bench is very popular within the community. Everyone seems to like his 2nd year card more. Truth is, I just picked it up this week too. @@basementcardcollector
@@CleanCheapShots Nobway!? Congratulations! It is just a sweet looking card!!! Like I have that forever, would love a Rookie don’t get me wrong, but that 69 is a classic/iconic card!!!
Awesome pickups this year! I love that 72' Kaline! That's one I still need to get for my Kaline collection. Thanks for sharing and have a great New Year's!
Thanks Brian! I wish I would have started this project WAY sooner! I saw your Kaline collection, it’s pretty sweet! Happy new year man! I will get your VR up this week too!
Very impressive haul of Vintage cards! This might be the year I dive into vintage after seeing so many cool cards floating around RUclips. I think the 3D Brooks Robinson was my favorite. Good luck in the VR and keep on rocking!
This was like watching someone cannonball into the vintage pool… and you made a massive splash! What a super sweet rundown of all your new/old cards! I remember when you got that terrific Tom earlier this year - how cool he’s #2 on your list! This was a great countdown, Jason. Here’s to another cannonball in ‘24!
Thanks Mr. Mookie! It was pretty amazing to see them all together for this ‘splash’😁 how cool?!?!?! I remember, you remembering, me getting that Seaver! Thanks for the kind words too! Happy new year!
Wow, you had an amazing year picking up vintage Jason! Love that 66 Koufax that one is sweet, your 58 Aaron is so well centered and the picture and coloring are fantastic! The 69 Bench is my favorite of his and a great way to end it. Looking forward to seeing how you continue to grow your vintage collection in 2024. Have a Happy New Year!
Thanks Steve! It was cool digging for cards for this list and for Hugo at the same time! Vintage cards just look great in Amy condition really! I could be swayed between the Bench, Sandy, and Hank for my favorite… don’t tell anyone though😁 Happy new year Steve!!!
Absolutely awesome pickups for the year. The colors on the 58 Aaron are amazing. Fantastic video. Not sure how you’re going to top that but will be looking forward to your 2024 pickups. Happy New Year 🎉🎉
Thank you! It was a fun video that’s for sure! I can’t believe we have collected this stack in this year! It’s cool to have a playing days card of these greats!!! Soooo cool!
Great video Jason! So much awesome vintage in one year, that's great! Love the 56 Banks, 63 Berra, 68 Seaver, 58 Aaron, and 66 Koufax. The 69 Bench is one of the best looking cards, IMHO. Thanks for sharing! Happy New Year!
Thanks Darren! I can’t believe some of the cards here! Like the fact that I actually have a box of just these vintage cards now stay🤯🤯🤯 Ao cool, it was kinda fun to see them all in one spot like this as well! Happy new year to you!
Great cards Jason! This would be very difficult for me to do, lol. It's weird I have quite a few Fergie cards but I never see ones on video that match mine. For someone who just got into vintage you actually have a lot and some big big cards! I love the 1967 multiplayer cards and have been really interested in the 1961 Golden Press cards. Even tho they are not playing days those images bring you back to the times they played.
The Golden Press cards seem like a very cool set that feel like playing days cards to me😁 I also have a Jimmie Foxx GP card. I have really enjoyed picking these up for the year too! I hope to continue this project moving forward too! I wish I would have started sooner man!!!!! Thanks Sammy!!
Very nice collection of cards. I am also a Chicago Cubs card collector. I am looking to focus more on vintage cards this year, not all that concerned with the quality of the card. Of course I would like them in better condition, but willing to compromise.
Thanks for watching! Go Cubs Go!👍🏻 That’s kinda my thoughts as well with cards. I just picked up a few more vintage at card shop yesterday!! They are just fun to pick up! Who do you collect as a favorite?
@basementcardcollector I mostly collect Ryne Sandberg, Ron Santo, Billy Williams, Fergie Jenkins, but really any and all Cubs players. I have a pretty good collection going. I have them in a storage box in alphabetical order.
@@threeg6966 Same here!! I collect All Cubs cards I come across. I have binders for my players PCs. I have 5000 count boxes going and I’m working a Cubs team binder too.
Sooooo cool!!! Love seeing the Koufax at around the 13:47 time. I love that card! I did a handmade version of it and its one of my favorites. Really cool to see the original!
Thanks Steven! Oh yes it made it, sorry it took a minute to get your video up. I usually record one day every few weekends. I totally 👍🏻 your mail day! Thanks for the extras!!
