Yes i do the same walk around but i use a check list and check off all PM's and then move to next room etc. I can do 10 or more rooms that way. When I have the check lists done, I group the same PM's together example; all painting, do all those rooms, then light bulbs etc. for me its faster then stop and go because I have what I need for each room.
Thanks for refreshing How to PM rooms? Don't forget to tell them to check for / Loose Light switches and Electrical outlets because my guys always forget the little things when a guest check in and plug in their charger, etc, and the charger is Loose in the outlet I personally go behind my guys to check the PMS and if possible I won't fix it that minute I have the person that missed the problem go back to the room and fix or replace the outlet So they don't forget the next time hopefully! I don't quit learning after about 40yrs
Great vid zooma!💪 Thanks for the continuous content shares amigo. I myself used to do my apartment PM's with a 5 gallon bucket stocked with a few of the typical routine supplies. Light bulbs, toilet flappers, cover plates, tub & drain stoppers, etc. And last but not least, I carried a trusty-tusty notepad to write down anyhing that needed attention that I couldn't fix on the spot and likewise the supplies needed to complete the job. 🛠️ 😎✌️
What do you do with the old or damage appliance? Do you keep them as back ups or throw them away? The rusty door hinge do you paint them or replace them?
The biggest turnoff I see even in “high end” properties is the cabling to the the TV, which in this range is typically a fairly large display on an articulated arm for perfect placement.
I find it useful, when Im in a vacant room for a trouble, to quick-check a few other items as well. The room will eventually come up for a regular "full" preventative maintenance, but why let easily fixable things wait ?
Yes! So true. If we are unclogging a sink drain in a vacant, doing a quick integrity check on the towel racks, faucets, shower, tub drain, hair-dryer, etc., can shave off a lot of future work-order inconveniences. 😉👌
Great ❤❤❤❤❤

The headboards not aligned with the beds makes my OCD go crazy lol

Let’s gooo
I’m not very up on this, but what is a PM?
It would help us if you define these things.
I have no idea why I even watch these, but I do!

I have a check list that I have to to through. For my PMs
I’m pretty sure people have asked you this question but how much you make the hour?

How many guys and how many PM's per day are you supposed to do? Are you required to do a certain number of rooms per week?
Every hotel pm is different
Do all hotels and motels call them PMs?
Ours are RPM (room pm), and instead a PM is all the main building stuff (everything other than rooms).
Interesting! 👊
