I put mine on January 1st 2021 and took them down on January 1st 2022...., my hair had hit tail bone... I trimmed 3 inches... It was so beautiful

Sure you can keep them in for 6 months and still see growth. Just make sure the take down as as gentle as possible

Yes she did oil and message her scalp as needed. She always did wash her hair regularly and did re-twist her new growth when needed

Honestly thats a long time. Yes you can still take it out but its hard to tell how much hair you will loss and how much you will gain.

What about the hair that is intertwined in the loc.....coz when it wa installed ,,it wa done an inch from the root..
You comb out the hair cause your own hair is also inside

For as long as you want but you will have to redo your new growth every now and then
9 to 1 year maximally.... 2 years is way tooooo long
