Here is the first time beating Valentina on Mauer Der Toten. In my opinion the best strategy is to triple PAP the wonder weapon and don't pick up any mods. Save up enough points to be able to buy a few refills of ammo in case things go wrong. Also I use a Hauer shotgun backup with Shatter Blast in case I run out of ammo; you don't need to triple PAP this weapon as my strategy involves using only the CRBR-5 wonder weapon and the Death Machine. The Death Machine will help a ton, make sure you pick one up at a crafting table for 100 blue salvage before you start the boss fight. I also use Aether Shroud but Ring of Fire could also work well. When she teleports different areas you have a minute or so to rebuild your shield (which should be fully maxed out) and you also should have time to call in Klaus if you want or rebuy any ammo if you have to. Charge up your Aether Shroud when your out from killing zombies as you will need it in case she barrages you.
Valentina has 4 attacks:
- Yellow Crystals Barrage - She throws tons of crystals at you, you can avoid them as long as you stay moving and/or get behind cover.
- Lightning - She will instakill you or bring you down to 1 HP if you don't break line of sight from her. Basically get behind an object (prone if you have to).
- Heal - She will summon a group of zombies that you need to take out before she consumes them for more health.
- Meanwhile zombies, tempests, manglers, and HVT's will be attacking you. You should focus fire on the boss and any special zombies that could deal damage to you.
She will teleport every 20% health or so all around the map. The first area will be the Endstation and then could be on the top of buildings or in the streets. She will give you a minute to get to her and then teleport you if you take too long. Once you are in the zone she will but up barriers and lock you in there until she moves again. Zombies will get more difficult as you lower her health more.
After she is down to the last 20% or so she will teleport back to the Endstation. You can then finish her off with a Death Machine you pick up on the way and you will be initiated with a cutscene and then to capture Valentina. Once you capture her Klaus will walk into the portal. MAKE SURE YOU PROTECT HIM or else you will fail the easter egg. He is pretty weak so make sure to kill all zombies that could come close to attacking him. In this video I mess around and actually end up failing this part at the last second :D To actually beat it and trigger the cutscene just follow Klaus further in and protect him lol
