I love this podcast! I will say I didn’t like the initial conversation of maybe she shouldn’t leave because it’s a “good relationship” and marriage is just the legal binding. If it’s important to her, it’s important to her. Plus you have to think of worst case scenario, something happens to him, decisions need to be made, etc.. only a WIFE can do those things legally. Not a girlfriend. If it’s important to her she should stand on that. I appreciate Angela’s input this episode, especially her emphasizing that there is a man out there who will marry her because saying “the streets are tough” in the beginning of the episode implies she might not be able to find better.

Marriage is a spiritual covenant. It’s God’s design. More importantly, it’s his design to marry the “right” person. I wonder if she is being honest with herself when she says that they have a great relationship. There are probably other issues that are being overlooked due to the marriage issue. If it not important to him now, it’s not going to be important in two years. They are probably not each other’s forever. Follow your intuition always, always!

Agreed! When marriage isn’t important it’s because they don’t feel it. I’ve experienced that myself. I know of people who didn’t want marriage then they met the “one” and they married them asap. It’s the feeling you’re suppose to receive when it’s “your person”💯

@@elleofellemanagement526 it is mathematically impossible for every female in America to each have a man. Several percentage points of females will be left alone. As a female ages, the number of available men drops precipitously. By the time a female reaches 65 there are only 53 men for every 100 female. 99% of men don't survive their 80's.

The fact that these 3 women are married and don’t seem to understand the institution of marriage is insane. Marriage is not just a document. It’s a legal binding contract that allows for certain provisions. If anything happens to him in the eyes of the law she’s nobody to him. All decisions will fall to his family, no access to benefits etc. she is the mother of his child. Rhea, if it’s not a resounding yes it’s a NO. Him giving you that timeline is just a pacifier. Him saying he doesn’t value marriage as you do is all you needed to know to make your deserve. I’m sure you love him, but you have to love yourself more 💕

My brother just proposed to his girlfriend of 9 years this week!! They both had kids already, bought a home together, and essentially knew that they were going to spend their lives together, but life happens, and this is the timeline that worked for them.

In Muslim tradition you date to marry. There’s no other way around it. If he can’t walk through the door and ask for the woman’s hand, she dips. We are talking everything within 12 months.

I am always open to marriage. Whenever a female brings it up I always ask her to make a sales pitch. Tell me what I get out of it. Tell me how I benefit. I always ask them to tell me what they are proposing. I know the costs. I know the risks. I would like to know how its not a terrible decision for me.

Im going on 15 year still no ring decided to give him one more year, if he still doesn't know....im going on 41 yr and him 54, apologizing to my self and move on.

If you are 41 then you should probably stay where you are. There are not a lot of men under 50 that are willing to date a female over 40. Those that are willing usually have a rotation of at least three deep. Your best bet is to help him maximize his 401k and enjoy your retirement life in 10 years.

It has been my experience that No_Wife=Peaceful_Life. Peace is very expensive. I know guys who gave their ex-wife hundreds of thousands of dollars up front and thousands each month so that they can have their peace back. A wedding ring doesn't just cost thousands of dollars. The real cost of a ring is a man giving up his peace. I hear a lot of females saying that they deserve a ring. I would like to know what, specifically, a woman thinks is worth a man giving up his peace...and 50% of his income and assets. What makes a female worth having a ring?
